Hotel Bel Azur Thalasso & Bungalows

Our stay at Bel Azur Thalasso & Bungalows in Hammamet was fantastic from start to finish, and the people working there made it even better. I have to give a very special mention to Hatem, one of the waiters in the restaurant. His service was genuinely outstanding — easily the best waiter there by far. Every day he greeted us with a smile, remembered what we liked, and made sure we were always looked after. He has that rare combination of professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail that makes a real difference to your holiday. He turned every meal into a pleasure. I also want to praise Chadha at reception. She helped us on numerous occasions throughout our stay, always with kindness, patience, and a lovely attitude. Whether we needed information, assistance, or just someone who genuinely cared, she was there every time. She made everything feel easy. The hotel itself is beautiful. The grounds are extremely well‑kept, with plenty of space to wander and relax. The pools are a real highlight — clean, spacious, and perfect whether you want to swim, sunbathe, or just float around and unwind. There’s a great atmosphere around the pool areas, never too crowded, and always well looked after. The entertainment team do a great job throughout the day. The beach is stunning. Soft sand, clear water, and plenty of loungers. It’s just a short walk from the bungalows, and it feels peaceful and private. Watching the sunrise or sunset from the beach was one of the best parts of the trip. Overall, Bel Azur Thalasso & Bungalows gave us a wonderful holiday — beautiful surroundings, great facilities, and staff who genuinely care about their guests. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hammamet.

Considering the price, the standard is quite high. The cuisine is very good and varied, with fresh fruit and meals. Cleanliness is good. This is my second time here and I can recommend this hotel without hesitation. I will definitely be back.

I have just come back after spending a week away, the animation team was beyond excellent they have so much energy and are always the highlight of our evening. The hotel the food was nice and the room was clean to a high standard. The only fault was the bar every time you go to get a drink the bar is so busy and the time it took to get served was not the best, I would suggest getting yourself a couple of drinks to save yourself waiting and having to go back up and wait for longer.

The pools, beach maintenance, room sizes, hotel facilities, and especially the restaurant were excellent. My wife and I had a truly wonderful holiday. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The guests staying at the hotel were also generally respectful, pleasant, and family-oriented, which made our stay even more enjoyable. There was only one minor issue, which I have mentioned below. Other than that, everything was great, and we were very satisfied with our experience. We would gladly stay here again.

We stayed in a bungalow room. The hotel and overall experience were excellent, but the hair dryers definitely need to be replaced. They do not match the standard of such a high-quality hotel. In addition, there was no proper floor drain in our bathroom. Even when the bathtub curtain was fully closed, water would leak onto the bathroom floor, accumulate there, and remain for a long time. This issue should be addressed. A sliding glass shower door instead of a curtain could be a much better solution. Other than these minor points, everything was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The pools were amazing, the beach was amazing and the chiefs and other staffs were friendly, the pizza chief was very nice with kids

Awful Day 1 and cant wait to leave Rooms below basic Reception staff so unhelpful You cant bring tunisa Dinas into the country so make sure you bring cash or you are screwed Need money for towel cards Need money for gym Need money for adapter Yet cash machine doesnt work Hotel refuse to put towel cards on room to pay on check out or when cash available Taxi cash Hotel have the availability to take card payment as they were happy to take card payment for room tax on arrival So here with no cash unable to use amenities Food is awful Today ive had a orange of breakfast lunch and tea and im really not fussy but i dont have to worry about putting weight on as wont be eating Nothing outside the hotel Cant wait to leave
