Inn San Francisco

We really enjoyed our stay at The Inn San Francisco! Located in the Mission District the Inn is close to many of the sights to see in the city. The room we stayed in was very nice and the hospitality provided by Marty and his crew was top notch! We will definitely stay there again!

We were impressed by the beauty of the house, the warmth of Marty and the view from the rooftop. The most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed at in San Francisco.

Lovely space! Loved the owner and the staff. Give your money to old-timer San Fran folks and not corporations like Airbnb! Stay at the Inn. You won’t regret it! Though, might not be the best place for young, energetic kids… Our six-year old isn’t loud, but noise travels in old homes and we felt bad for the other guests. All in all, a fantastic retreat in the middle of SF.

The Inn San Francisco was a quaint and charming place to stay while I looked at grad schools in the area. My room was upgraded when I arrived to a queen-sized bed. The showed was a clawed-foot bathtub and shower head combo at one wall of the main area, with the toilet in its own closet. I thought this to be very charming and fun. And the steam helped to warm up the room during those chillier nights. (As did the space heater the staff automatically provided, alongside a fan.) Parking was made easy with the on-site garage for $30 a night. I was more comfortable with this option as it eliminated the issue of finding parking around the property, and any nervousness I had about car break ins (which are unfortunately common in the SF area). Breakfast was a buffet of fruit, meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals, and breads daily--I always left breakfast feeling full and ready to go into the city with only lunch and dinner to worry about. While the location of The Inn may not be for everyone as it's in the downtown Mission District area, it was definitely a safe oasis in the city. During my stay there I did hear fireworks going off at night and a neighborhood dog barking, but noises from partying humans were slim-to-none. I'm a light sleeper and what noises did occur didn't bother me. If you're unfamiliar with SF or adore Mission staples such as Dandelion Chocolate and Paxton Gate, this is a perfect place to stay, with Valencia street just a few blocks above The Inn.

This place is a gem and they have parking! The location is great and the Inn Keeper Liza was just so great. They also have a gorgeous backyard and a lovely hot tub. The breakfast was great and the interaction with the other guests pleasant and lovely.

We loved our stay here and the owner was super sweet and friendly.

We've been staying here a couple times a year over the past twenty years and have no plans to stop. The place is beautiful, the staff friendly and great, the garden in the back a great place to eat the bountiful breakfast they provide, the views are stunning, and on and on. It's in a great neighborhood, and each room is different from the others, so it's fun to try different ones.

This is a fantastic place to stay at! such an incredible experience, very old San Francisco style. The house is beautiful, very well maintained, cleaned, and elegant. Our room was beautiful as well, quiet, and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. We also enjoyed the neighborhood, with character and lots of interesting shops and coffee shops. We will definitely stay here again!
