Holiday Inn Club Vacations Cape Canaveral Beach Resort

The studios are like an old Holiday Inn. There's no desk, no night stands. The resort is clean and the newer section seemed nice. But the original building is antiquated. Really unhappy that the bar shut down at 8 pm .

De kamers waren erg donker, omdat er geen daglicht binnenkomt, omdat wij een studio hadden zonder balkon. Dus kwam erg deprimerend over.. Kamers/Studio was wel erg netjes en alles was aanwezig.

Smell in the rooms, it was awful with very old carpet, straight out of the 80s and unchanged

The stove has a convection/air-fry function, which was great! We were able to order groceries from Walmart+ delivery and cook our own meals. The arcade was over-priced as usual but I was impressed with the size of it and variety of games. Spas/hot tubs were actually hot, like a spa should be.

Front desk tried to charge us over $2k despite prepayment and couldn’t resolve it without us providing proof. The A/C unit was leaking badly, nearly overflowing the drip pan and pooling water near electrical components, creating a safety concern. It was extremely noisy and not fixed after multiple attempts, resulting in no sleep for the first two nights. We were later told it needed full replacement, but no overnight HVAC staff was available, so we had to wait another day. Then, when they came the next day, they told us we needed to switch rooms. Visible mold on and in vents and filthy air filter on A/C made conditions worse, especially with severe asthma in our group. Strong smoke smell in the room was reported but never addressed until calling the front desk multiple times. Overall, serious maintenance, safety, and responsiveness issues. Because the hotel claimed they were “fully booked,” we were stuck in these conditions for days before finally being moved. Packing, relocating, and unpacking mid-stay took a day of our vacation. During the move, we had a Walmart delivery with essential medications for my son. Because the room number hadn’t been updated in the app, the delivery went to our old room. Instead of helping, the front desk allowed the order to be returned to the store. They never called us — even though we had explicitly told them (multiple times) to contact my husband because my phone was broken. That level of carelessness is beyond frustrating. The issues didn’t stop there: -Keycard access to building doors was unreliable and often didn’t work, especially at night when you are vulnerable. I was locked out multiple times and had to walk around the building in pajamas and no, there was no signage about doors being locked. -One of the outlets in the room didn’t work. -Wi-Fi was inconsistent. -The dishwasher was falling apart and barely cleaned dishes.

Close to beach beautiful scenic resort (shuttle every 15min to beach or walk for scenic views nice relaxing resort to stay for Kennedy space center

The breakfast voucher wasn’t broken down clearly to me at check in before arrival I was told each guest excluding kids would get 30 dollars vouchers totaling 60 for both days of stay’ upon arrival I was told somthing completely different there fore we only at breakfast once and I still had a teaming balance of 32 credits to spend kinda disappointing knowing I could got more if it was explained better’ then there’s a third party calling your room signing you up for 90 min to come to at hotel and if you miss is they dedt you card 75’ which I immediately informed the front desk about! But other then that I had a great time my card wasn’t charged ‘ got my deposit back in peace’ oh and food pricey not Good at all and they dont Accept cash !

Pool would have been amazing if the weather was better. Restaurant was very good with great service, and location was well placed for the Kennedy Space Centre. The rooms themselves were very clean and surprisingly well stocked with all the essentials plus a few extras needed.

Unfortunately, the pool slide was closed for the time we were there (oddly, while the rest of the pool was open) and it was the main reason for booking the hotel so the kids could enjoy it. The only disappointing interactions were with the main desk which were slow, unhelpful, and at times impatient.
