Ma Maison Mt. Fuji Kawaguchiko

Good location near lots of restaurants and supermarkets. Shopping centre nearby also. Great views of Mount Fuji from the front windows. There were lots of clear instructions regarding the hot water etc. in English and helpful information about nearby restaurants and things to see.

The property is listed as a three bed house. When we arrived there were only two bedrooms with beds in them and we were three couples. The host was aware of this as we had to upload our passports etc. in advance of arriving at the property. There was a room upstairs set up as a sitting room so we ended up taking futon mattresses we found in the cupboard and making a makeshift bed for one of the couples on the floor of this room using the bedding from one of the extra beds in the rooms downstairs. Otherwise we would have had to share a bedroom with another couple. Far from ideal and not as advertised. There was black mould all over the downstairs bedroom window. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned for quite some time. Mould spores are a health hazard. The sink in the upstairs bathroom is ridiculously small. You can barely wash your hands in it. It is a big bathroom and could easily fit a proper sized sink and even a shower which would be so much more useful and comfortable for guests using the upstairs. There was only one mirror in the whole house in the downstairs bathroom. A mirror in each of the bedrooms to facilitate putting on makeup etc. while the bathroom is occupied would be really helpful. There was no toaster in the kitchen. Information in English about how to work the heating system would be helpful. The sofas were covered in bed sheets presumably to protect the sofa but it looked awful and these were not on the sofa in the pictures on booking.com

The location is excellent with stunning view of Mount Fuji. A number of restaurants nearby in walking distance.

The room heater is not very efficient. Even we turn it to the highest temperature, the room is still freezing.

Best part of the facility you wake up and see spectacular view of Mt. Fuji from your bedroom window. Convenience store is 90m away.

This place does not provide Night suite and Pajamas. There is no toilet jet or washlet. Living room AC is weak and doesn’t make room warm. No gas or electric heater available at the facility.

Location is good, Can see MR.FUJI from the windows but should have a car because it’s little far from kawaguchiko station. Easy to check in and check out

Toilets haven’t a bidet shower.
