Tundra Lodge

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We arrived around 1:30 to use the waterpark before check-in at 4. At 4:30 we went to check in, only to be told our room wasn’t ready. When we asked for an estimate, the front desk clerk coldly said she didn’t know and would call us—no apology, no eye contact, no empathy. When we asked what we should do, she replied, “I don’t know.” At 5:40, still no call, same response. By 6:15, still no room, so we went to dinner smelling like chlorine. They finally called at 6:45. Again, no apology. When we got to the room, it was unbearably hot and the AC was broken. The window only opened 2 inches. Calls to the desk went unanswered, so we went down. The clerk said they were fully booked but would send maintenance. After 30 minutes, no one came. She then called and admitted they couldn’t move us, offered a “future stay” instead, and suggested fans. Fans would’ve done nothing in that heat unless we left the door open, which wasn’t an option. We ended up leaving. Returning the keys, the front desk clerk was still cold and uncaring, making no effort to salvage the situation. Between poor communication, lack of basic hospitality, and a broken room, this was a truly awful stay.

Late check in, waited 3+ hours for our room after we checked in

We stayed in the hotel for 3 days and housekeeping ever came to clean our room. Our garbages were overflowing and towels were never refreshed.

The outside hot you. Hasn’t been an irking for months. Asked staff in motel for help and was told to wait at. Remote non operable. Bathroom fan very loud. Made complaint and was brushed off as oh well. For the money you pay this place is run poorly and it is not clean.

Do not stay at this hotel!!! Our stay started off with our room NOTE being ready at 4:00 check in time. Said they would send a text when it was. 5:00, nope, 6:00, nope..asked to speak to a manager, was give a business card, left a voicemail, never heard back. 7:45pm a room was finally ready. TERRIBLE customer service, front desk was awful. Holly was rude and unapologetic. We were not the only people waiting for a room..we heard this throughout the night in the elevator and the pool. Completely Unacceptable. The water park is not worth the hassle of this place.

There was mold on all beds, holes in the bedding, we had to wait literal hours before we could get into a room (got there at 6:45, should have been ready by 4), the pool was broken outside.

Check in was long. Not sure if room was ready trouble with Expedia.

We booked a cabin suite with bunk beds. We checked in and got to our room it wasn't what we booked. Since we booked through Expedia they were only able to refund the hotel fees. The hotel was pretty full so they weren't able to switch our room. Kids very disappointed. The pool was nice and the lifeguards were all very friendly

Check in was very easy

Water park was good for kids. Very impressed with lifeguards attention. Room bathroom was very small. Pull out sofa mattress was terrible, maybe 3 inches thick. Booked a room for 6 (4 adults/2kids under9) had to pay for two extra wristbands.
