Lovely stay, staff exceptional, high quality of food. We spent New Year's eve and attended the family friendly party and we all had a great time.

New Year’s Eve party was so good for all ages so much for families and children. Food was good So many different options and lots of sections for children

Have just had the most amazing stay at the hotel for the New Year’s Eve gala dinner From start to finish it was outstanding! The room was very luxurious, the staff extremely friendly and helpful (especially Ivan) I could not find fault with the accommodation, food, entertainment, staff and will be booking again for next years New Year’s Eve event How wonderful to find a hotel that ticks every box, well done De Vere ❤️

Stayed here with my wife before and always enjoyed the stay, beautiful scenery and hotel and staff couldn't be more helpful. Rooms are spacious and very relaxing. It's all very well run and makes the stay very smooth and enjoyable. The food in the restaurant is top notch for dinner and even a few snacks at the bar are lovely. Breakfast is vast and has everything you could want with a bit of a light head from the night before. Couldn't recommend more.

Recently had a really lovely stay. Room was spotless, and we were left some welcome treats which was a lovely touch. Dinner and breakfast was really nice with a great range of choice. Staff were really friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The office Christmas party was held at De Vere which included an overnight stay on 13th December. The main entrance of the hotel looks the part by unfortunately every thing else let it down! Our room 125 was(not the Mansion) very damp. Tiny bed, no bottled water, Paint peeling off the edges. The toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall. And there was whole in the bathroom door There extractor fan in the bathroom did not work which meant entire room was damp and soaking wet. Couldn’t see what was the shampoo and the shower gel(I believe it was exactly the same) as it’s screwed to the wall, did not dispense and steamed up due to faulty extractor fan. Hence the bathroom door had to be kept open whilst using the shower. This in turn made the bedroom very damp and smell of damp. Do not expect any complimentary bathroom products, not even a shower cap! The soap dispenser by the basin worked however since it’s screwed to the wall, it could not be moved to the shower. Very poor! Hopping in and out of the bath to get to liquid soap not advisable without breaking a few limbs! A health and safety hazard or a Faulty Towers moment! The Christmas turkey dinner was inedible and mostly consisted of stuffing no turkey. I’m glad I didn’t spend my hard earned money to stay here. I’d be gutted! Would I stay here again? NO, never again!

Mildred prepared the room beautifully and was kind enough to give me bottles of water when I was going to fill my glass from the cold water tap in corridor. Beautiful room warm and comfortable

We recently stayed here for our companies Xmas night out. A colleague & i had booked an additional night at our own expense & hadn't realised how many room types the hotel had. It turns out we had booked into a completely different area of the hotel from where our company had booked us. When we got to check in Ellie was incredible! She was unbelievably helpful & was able to somehow switch our rooms around & get us into the same building as all of our colleagues for both nights. She absolutely went above & beyond. We thought we had maybe just got luckily with Ellie but every other team member we encountered was also friendly & helpful. I would not hesitate to return.

Lovely hotel in a stunning location, the rooms are fab, staff very friendly. Would recommend! Had some lovely good, the breakfast was wonderful
