What a wonderful evening Poppy was particularly attentive, but the whole team Marco, Sam & Rachel were great nothing too much trouble

Stayed in the Mansion House and it was lovely. Very charming with attentive and helpful staff and surrounded by autumnal countryside. Great breakfast too!

Disappointed that you had taken Hanger Steak off the menu ( which I had really been looking forward to!)? and you have replaced it with Bavette. ) which is just not the same! A table beside me had ordered this and they found it chewy & tough. The food took 40 mins to arrive, due to a large group in a private room. Bad timing or not enough staff?! Otherwise a good new menu, I perceive. Time will tell!

We had an amazing weekend family break! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great! The quality of the food was good and the spa was nice too. Thank you again!

I attended Wokefield for 2 nights as part of a conference and found it to be a good venue for this sort of event. The service was good and the bedrooms comfortable. The only drawback was that my bedroom was in a different building about 100 yards from the conference building and it was raining most of the time.

Previously stayed here several times (only in Mansion House, new build part of the property is awful) and quality of stay very much dependent on room & staff, as well as if events are taking place. Check-in took forever as front desk staffer Ellie - who could do with an attitude adjustment - just sat there scrolling on her phone while trainee Olivia -- very nice and helpful -- checked us into both rooms. It would have been much faster had Ellie done one room while Olivia did the other instead of scrolling/shopping. Bizarrely we were given a choice of free candy and/or crisps for the room. Got to rooms and they were saunas on different floors (nice to do that to families traveling together). South facing, no windows cracked open and no a/c, literally baking hot ovens. And no fans either. We had dinner plans with friends and upon return, rooms were bearable. Not sure we'd stay here again during summer and we definitely avoid Sat night stays due to popularity of this venue for weddings, very loud weddings. Also last time we stayed here, ground floor café closed for a private event which we were not told when reserving.

It has been a very memorable week. The meals and other hospitality were very good. The responses from people like Mr. Tej Mann were very timely and customer friendly. We wish the entire hotel team very best. Keep up your prestige

Our stay was brilliant, the staff were very helpful. The Golf course and staff were great, shame the weather wasn’t as good. Food and beverages were lovely. We will definitely be back for another visit.

I have just returned from our church's Big Weekend Away which was held at De Vere's Wokefield Estate. From the moment we arrived - I was with my wife and two young daughters - and despite being part of a very large group, we were made to feel very welcome. Our family room - in the Wellington Lodge - was spacious and comfortable and, something that we all noted, the food all weekend was excellent. As with any such venue, it's the staff who will make - or break - the overall experience and the staff we met at Wokefield, from checking in on Friday evening to checking out on Sunday afternoon, and whether in Reception or the dining areas were always polite, friendly, and helpful. At one point, I even asked if they could find me a step-ladder (I wanted to take a group photo later that p.m. and needed some height) and Laila and another colleague (her name escapes, my apologies) said they would do all they could to find one (as it happened, I found something else and didn't need the ladder but their willingness to "go the extra mile" did not go unnoticed). Thanks to all for a lovely weekend. PS One minor gripe: not enough parking!

From the moment we arrived, the experience wasn’t perfect, but Tej Mann, the Reception Manager, went above and beyond to help us out and make things right. Anroy, the Bar Manager, is a fantastic manager with great skills who keeps everyone happy. Both of them definitely deserve a heavy bonus for being so kind and attentive. Also, there was another fantastic team member with short black hair wearing a pink and white checkered shirt—Anroy knows who he is! and he made a great impression on us too! They kindly offered us the chance to return and stay in a suite, and that second stay completely won us over. We loved it so much that we’ve already booked an extra night! Huge thanks to the team for turning our visit into such a great experience. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again!
