La Creole Beach Hôtel & Spa

Wonderful place. Superb service. Excellent food and drinks.

It was not so big as to make it harder to move around. It would have been nice to have had an area easily accessible to get some water or tea etc during the day or evening.

Our stay at La Creole Beach Hotel and Spa exceeded all expectations. Ingrid provided amazing service at check- in and that level of satisfaction was maintained throughout our stay. Our room was upgraded, was kept immaculate and we were provided the finest amenities. The pool, surrounding grounds, and the beach were beautiful and also immaculately maintained. There was more than adequate lounge chairs at the pool and at the beach. The included breakfast was opulent. The French pastries and bread were delicious. We enjoyed two dinners at the hotel. Both were a buffet. There is a wide selection of freshly prepared foods including incredible fish, chicken, and salads. The chocolate and rum raisin ice cream is to die for. I am looking forward to returning. Avery romantic, relaxing, stress free vaciton.

I don't often write such a poor review, but the expectation gap was so great, especially if you have viewed the promotional video. I have raised these as rating against other 4 star hotels: - Room was very poor....cramped, badly in need of an upgrade, doors with no lock which don't fit, and very limited facilities (eg no bottle opener, no water, no tea/coffee facilities) - Noise.....we arrived on a saturday night into bedlam, a wedding was taking place and the continued past midnight, after which a lot of shouting etc. There were parties most evenings, and whilst I like live music, with a young family this is not ideal, plus the patio door didn't close properly so noise traveled through. - The aviary....also referred to as a restaurant.....disgusting to see many birds inside walking over and eating the buffet. It is only a matter of time before someone gets seriously ill and it was quite shocking. Staff made half hearted attempt to shoo away, but the solution is to get some automatic doors to the patio doors where they fly through. - Kids club....this was one of the main reasons we picked the hotel, one staff member was good and engaged but most just sat about chatting. - On checkout the receptionist insisted I pay for breakfast for my 5 year old despite my objections. She made me show her the confirmation from expedia which proved I was right, but no apology and this was embarrassing as there were many people in the queue. Very nice. Great food. Short on elevators. Room location very confusing at first n completely illogical.

Hotel Staff was very friendly. Rooms were kept clean. Dinner was a bit expensive but, you can always eat elsewhere. Overall accommodations were pleasant and we enjoyed our stay.

Awful. Most overpriced Id ever stayed. The staff are unfriendly, incompetent, and unfamiliar with their own hotel. My room was disgustingly dirty (to the point- will I contract some weird infection in the shower?). My shower was broken. My bath tub was broken. The room was noisy. Terrible stay. Avoid avoid avoid.

Our 9 day stay at La Creole Beach Hotel and Spa was incredible. The facility is beautiful, the staff professional and charming, and the central location is perfect to have access to visiting sites throughout Guadeloupe. After making our initial reservation we added on 5 additional days. The room we had was booked so we stayed in 2 different rooms. I would recommend requesting the newly renovated tower over the restaurant building. Both rooms were nice but the renovated ocean view room was incredible! The beach and pool facilities serve as the perfect answer to relaxing days at the resort. Zawag is an amazing restaurant and definitely a must do dining experience at least once during your stay. The walk-able restaurants also offer perfect dining options that do not require a drive/taxi for a wide range of dining options.
