All of my ratings are based on the fact that I didn't get to stay at all. I booked a stay the day before getting there, sent a special request for a 1st floor room and a pet small under 20lb dog. They responded they could accommodate the request and see ya tomorrow. We drove 13 hours in Holiday traffic only to get to this motel and find they did not have my reservation on file anywhere. After a few attempts and showing my confirmation number, I asked are there any rooms avail, the clerk stated yes, at this time my wife and pet came in to see the delay, the clerk said "oh, you have a pet, we don't have a room for pets, we said ok have a carrier in the car will let pet stay in the car (weather was not bad), she stated can't let you stay her, you have a pet. The motel website clearly states PET FRIENDLY, Several times she repeated this. I was more furious than I have been in years and left. Still researching who is at fault, Motel, Booking site or who? ended up spending double on a Hotel down the road, remember this was Thanksgiving return traffic, I would say lesson learned, but, don't know what lesson that would be?
