Warwick Le Lagon - Vanuatu

Our stay here was completely unexpected after our flight to Tanna was cancelled, and it turned out to be a fantastic last-minute booking. We arrived very early, and the team were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to use the pool and resort facilities while we waited for our room. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. The resort itself is beautiful, with great facilities and a very relaxing atmosphere. We also loved exploring the shoreline and spotting some amazing marine life, including a sea snake, lots of starfish, and plenty of colourful fish.

The only downside was that we only stayed for one night! The beach access is mostly coral, so it wasn’t ideal for swimming directly from the shore, but it was great for spotting marine life.

Pools were old and lots of tiles missing, kettle in room wasn't actually placed next to a power socket so kettle had to sit on the floor, staff were helpful but did take a long time to get their attention at the front desk. Some buildings could have done with a bit of TLC. Food and drink in report were expensive for lunch and dinner.

The lagoon view rooms are a bit dated but they are renovating all rooms so I’m sure these will be on the cards for upgrades soon Also the prices of food and drinks at the resort are a bit higher than other resorts and restaurants we went to, but it’s still reasonable (Australian price level)

It has everything you would need in a resort and the staff are lovely towards its customers.

The food is average and high priced. As a vet nurse the grounds men are extremely cruel towards a puppy that was wandering in ( kicking it hard unnecessarily ) even though I understand why they don’t want a stray walking around the puppy brought happiness to many people and it’s sad to see them treat it poorly where as the cats don’t get treated the same and are welcomed. I ended up going to nambatu vets to give this puppy its much needed flea and tick + worm treatment in hopes that it would help this malnutrition pup out.

Loved our Efate Vila. Peaceful and reasonably private. Meals were nice and great gym. Nice touch having a turn down service. Cool to see and hear the locals across from us go about there day…and night. Sometimes the smoke from their fires was a little thick.

Food and drinks were too expensive. When we checked out the lady never even looked up at me. No thank you, goodbye…nothing! Pretty rude when we’d spent thousands of $NZ. Service overall could be quicker. Had dinner with friends at pool bar and they had finished their meals before our meals came out, half an hour later.

The morning buffet lacks choice, constantly running out of basics like glasses. We stayed in 2 different villas and the beds were terrible and housekeeping very slow to arrive and didn’t replenish items even after being asked. Our bill was incorrect on leaving they nearly charged us twice for accommodation. We have stayed at this property 6 times before but this visit was very disappointing.
