Our one week stay was perfect! The staff, accommodation, location and beach was more then any holiday-goer could ask for. Worth every dollar spent on this accommodation. We were in paradise for a week!
Each villa is self-contained, clean and well presented. Location was good - beautiful part of the lagoon. Very quiet and relaxing, away from busy resorts with kids etc. Manager Mi'i was very helpful and friendly and the activities she organised, morning tea and pétanque, were a great and fun way to meet other visitors/tourists. Overall, we were extremely happy with our choice of accomodation.

Great private villas in a beautiful part of Rarotonga. We stayed in the garden studio - a good option at a lower price than the beachfront villas but still only a few steps from Titikaveka Beach. There are lovely, landscaped gardens, and hammocks, kayaks and snorkelling gear are all provided. The owners and their cat Salvador were very hospitable. Royale Takitumu's excellent reputation is well deserved.
Loved the individual villas. We stayed in a "Honeymoon" villa, which was on the beachfront. There are also garden villas, that are only about 50m back, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them also. The whole complex is very well maintained & it was a pleasure to stay. The snorkelling within the reef right outside the complex was the best on the island! We appreciated staying here as it was away from the hustle & bustle. There is no restaurant onsite, but the 2 closest restaurants are well within walking distance. We bought a 10 ride bus pass & that was adequate for our 8 day stay, although we did walk a fair bit. (The walk into Muri took us an hour). I would recommend it to anyone.

We had the most amazing stay here. Mi'i and the staff were fabulous from the moment we booked the hotel. It was a comfortable, peaceful, relaxed and friendly place to stay. We would definitely come back and stay and highly recommend this place to other travellers!
Had a lovely time sunbathing and snorkeling on the reef. Local restaurants were inexpensive and good.
Very relaxing, everything you need in the accommodation, beautiful gardens which adds to the beautiful setting.
