The Hunfeld

Το ξενοδοχείο έκανε δέσμευση του συνολικού ποσού της διαμονής μας από την πιστωτική μας κάρτα, λίγες μέρες πριν τη διαμονή μας για λόγους ασφαλείας. Στη συνέχεια μας ζητήθηκε να εξοφλήσουμε με νέα συναλλαγή,μόλις φτάσαμε, ενώ το ποσό παρέμεινε δεσμευμένο στην πιστωτική μας κάρτα μέχρι να αναχωρήσουμε. Όταν διαμαρτυρηθηκαμε μας απάντησαν ότι ήταν δικό μας θέμα το διαθέσιμο υπόλοιπο για τις συναλλαγές μας και επέμειναν στην άμεση εξόφληση.

This was our third stay at the Hunfeld. For us, we really like the hotel's convenient location. The room we had this time had a better view and felt more spacious. The Marshall music speaker is a really nice touch to the room

The shower in our bathroom leaked, so it wastes a lot of water. It would be great if the hotel supplied bottled water for its guests. There is a gold patch of paper stuck to the wall that doesn't look very nice in the room.

L’hotel è in una posizione centrale, le stanze sono moderne, ben arredate, con tv e aria condizionata, senza frigo.

La hall è in uno spazio ristretto, non ci sono divani o poltrone per potersi sedere, nè ambienti dove potersi sedere a conversare, prima di salire nelle stanze. Il bagno ha wc, lavandino e doccia in stanzette separate, risulta freddo e poco confortevole.

The Hunfeld Hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Utrecht. Everything is within walking distance. The windows keep the noise out, so you get a peaceful night's rest. We like the Hunfeld as it is a small Hotel and the location really works for us, as we enjoy walking around Utrecht.

It would be great if there were bottled water in the room. The rooms are small, but this is typical of hotels in old areas. The room we stayed in this time felt a bit cramped.

Excellent central location no more than 10 minutes walking from Utrecht Centraal. We walked with our luggage with no problem. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the small details like the Nespresso machine, storage space and Atelier Rebul bath products which made showering feel like a luxury experience. Staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful at all hours. We did not have breakfast in the hotel so cannot review.

Not a major problem and probably not possible to "fix" but we would have preferred to be able to crack the larger lower windows for sleeping as the weather was so comfortable. We did manage to crack the higher one but a disabled or shorter person may have struggled with this. We understand the building is old and the lower larger windows may be locked for safety.
