"It was a lovely old building & the concept was great but my room definitely needed doing up."

Proximity to city

It could do with a refurb- the carpet was outdated but looked worn & the tiles in the bathroom were cracked. Very dated. The cafe was a bit too exposed & didn’t feel cosy.

"Great 3 night stay at Henry Jones Art Hotel, Hobart, Tasmania"

Fantastic hotel located on the waterfront, within walking distance of the Salamanca Market (open Saturdays) and the ferry to the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA). Amazing art work throughout the hotel. We had the only room with a Juliette balcony overlooking the harbour. It was spacious, clean, comfortable bed, huge bathroom with both shower and spa bath. Breakfast menu was very good, served at the table rather than buffet. We also enjoyed cocktails in the IXL Long Bar.
