Location

Our room had no view and looked out on a noisy back lane. Breakfast space was not very inviting being in a Semi outdoor courtyard. We went elsewhere.

"Lovely few days in Hobart"

Location was great. Lovely traditional building. Room was good size great bed and bathroom. Beautiful artwork everywhere and good lounge menu. Staff were generally delightful except as below.

It was cold in the communal areas especially as the doors to the courtyard were kept open. The lighting in the bedroom was not great too dim. Waitress at lounge took our order and then proceeded to serve someone else which necessitated her going off to find their drinks without any explanation

Service staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant in particular. Food was superb. Pillow menu such a good idea

Bedding too hot, personal feeling. Could've used a lighter blanket instead of heat trapping doona.
