Modern studio for 3 people in the Heart of the City Center

It is a bedroom with ensuite in a shared apartment with 3 other rooms all sharing a lobby area and laundry room. The entrance to the property is behind a locked door from the street and down a walk way. You then have to walk up 3 flights of stairs which smells of sewage and is very poorly lit. We had to hold our noses just to go up there. The smell also continued throughout the apartment and the hosts way of ‘fixing’ this was to use air freshener. The property is right next to local bars which become very loud at night with music and huge crowds hanging out in the roads drinking alcohol. The curtains don’t fit the windows properly so the light comes through. The bed is 2 single foam divan bases pushed together which separate easily. The bedding is old and doesnt fit the bed. There is only 2 chairs and a tiny coffee table. The kitchen is not properly equipped (missing basic kitchen appliances and utensils like a toaster, cutlery etc). The shower was broken and it had to be held manually whilst washing as there was no wall bracket. The host delivered a new hose for the shower instead of fixing it to the wall. We booked the apartment less than 24hrs before and when we complained about the above, the host refused to refund our money. We did not stay for the full duration of the booking. We found somewhere else to stay at our own expense.

Great location and a well presented apartment.

A few issues I experienced: - Front door to the apartment is difficult to unlock and requires multiple attempts with a risk you might break the key in the lock. - The whole room has this thick chemical sewage smell which is really sickening. - While to location is good music can be heard from nearby clubs late into the night which will disturb sensitive sleepers.

Smell from the toilet is killing whole apartment. U cant close the door because they broke handoore. I mean u can't expect to much for 31€ apartment but you guys could charge more if u fix 2 things litteraly. I quess u had verry bad experience with other people so u decide not to invest anymore. Wish you guys all the best but i cant recommend this apartment. For 1 night is good.
