That I had to pay $175.00 to park in there parking garage that was located 2 blocks away in a unsecured garage. Had trouble getting in and out of it. The room was very small.

GBGreat location, across the road from the French Quarter. Room was a bit small but was clean and pleasantly decorated. Stayed for 3 nights and slept well every night which is all I ask.
The breakfast choices were not massive and the seating was limited. I actually took my own cereal down and just used the hotel’s milk. Don’t like the prevalence of single use plastics but seems common in a lot of hotels. Would I stay again, definitely.

It’s absolutely astonishing how few options you have via booking.com to update or cancel your travel. I have no idea what the hotel is like aside from the staff onsite being unable to make decisions and management ignoring emails. It’s been 48 hours - no reply. The booking started today and no reply. No call. Nothing. I will dispute these charges with my card because this is unacceptable. How can you run a business this way?? Hello? Will this get anyone’s attention? Is this the only way to make contact?

USI loved the location of the hotel. It was close to everything and very close to the house of blues which is why I was in town to see a concert.
Some of the front desk staff were rude and had an attitude when asking when our room would be available. All she would say was " well we were sold out last night " which isn't what I asked. I booked this room back in December mind you. My mother and I had our small dog with us which we needed to get into a room to ensure her safety so we could enjoy the city. Due to the incompetence of the front desk, my mom and I were forced to wait In a parking garage that the hotel charged $74 for for over 4 hrs with a dog and missed any opportunity we had to enjoy the city because I had a concert at 6:30 that night. Upon FINALLY getting a room, we were assigned room 903 which WASN'T a pet friendly floor after I specifically asked for a pet friendly room when I booked the room in December and was assured by the hotel that we would have a pet friendly room Upon arrival. Then were charged a 50.00 " early check in fee " for 30 mins when we were given the run around about a room half the day and we weren't even given the room i reserved initially. The guy at the front desk at that time had to find us a pet friendly room that we should have had reserved in the first place.We were at that time assigned room 403 on the 4th floor. By the time we got into our room over half of our day was over. My mom works very long hours and I dont get to spend much time with her and this RUINED our trip and precious time that we were looking forward to. Then the next morning we get up and have the hotel breakfast. We specifically tell the front desk we are pre loading our luggage in the car after breakfast so we didn't have as much to carry Upon checkout, then going to a few places along canal street and we would be back go get the rest our things and our dog and check out. We get back to the room to get the remainder of our belongings and our dog and our key cards had been deactivated after we told her we weren't checking out just yet.
