I visited Samsara on March 20 and left March 22,2026. I had one specific .........which I dealt with, because I wanted to get assistance as it relates to if this place was one I would enjoy. Initially she booked me for 2 individuals, after I mentioned to her it would be my birthday and I would be alone, nevertheless after conversations she realized I would be alone and told me it is the same cost for 2 as it is for 1, hence I opted to take my friends along. I was told it is a relaxed, beautiful place with cliffs that I could climb down on a ladder and go in some kind of built in cliff pool and if I opted to go the beach instead, I would be transported by shuttle bus to the sister resort named Legends..........Let me just get into this......Upon arriving, the first red flag is that I was told that I had to pay a US100.00 fee, which would be refundable depending, when I asked on what? I was told in case I broke anything. I was adamant that I would not pay, because this was never mentioned to me upon booking, they are however waivered because of that fact.........My friend and I eventually got the room, which they said would finish being cleaned about 20 mins late. Booking should be at 3pm, and the room was not ready when we reached, we however waited for it to be finished and booked in.............My people, let me tell you..... The room was deplorable, when we were entering the step to go up to our room, specifically room #216, there was a stenge that was unbearable, we were later told it was the pit, Infront of our door was wet, water running. i was the A/C that was draining. The room we got for 2 was the size of basically a kitchen, the A/C fan was not working properly, hence there was a constant sound that it made whenever turned on. When we opted for the fan, it could not be turned on because of the built up of dirt on it......The floor of the room was dirty, despite the fact tit was still wet when we entered. I had to ask for a broom and dust shovel sweep it myself. They could not even find that. they gave me a little broken broom full of dust, I still used it because I could step on the things I was feeling under my feet...........No towel place anywhere, except for one in the bathroom and 2 little, small soaps, that's it. No form of bathroom floor mat. When my friend asked for a towel, she was told they are out........The small room had a mini fridge in it, which was completely empty......when we of asked. asked about this, we were told no fridge should be in there and a customer mistakenly left the fridge there, which of course is laughable..........
Trying to just sum this up. It is going to take too long to write everything. Breakfast is at 8am, lunch 12pm and dinner 7pm....If you are hungry at any point between those times, you are on your own. The bar opens at 10am and closes at 10pm...........basic mixings of drinks, oh, if you would like a bit of rum cream being placed in anything, you must pay differently $1000.00 odd per shot. The bar is terrible, no maintenance whatsoever. The lawns are filled with dog poo that is dried. It is all over......The eating area is small, and you have to be in waiting line, waiting for persons to finished, so you can be seated to eat...When we arrived the Friday and went for lunch we got, a little stew Chicken and a bit of rice, no vegetable that was lunch. We said maybe it is because we arrived late and it was finished, but the next day was the same menu when we went to the sister company Legends, the only exception was, we got a little vegetable this time. We opted to leave before lunch on our check out day, was we got tired of the stew Chicken, which if I might add, we got the same Stew Chicken as a part of our dinner..... We went down to Legends believing there would be some form of difference, it was all the same. No form of activity, little music playing on YouTube, that was it............We tried saying to something, but everyone all said the same thing......They can't to anything......Let me add though, most of the staff was welcoming and nice to talk with.............The Management of this place needs to do something. I am not sure if it is the fact that majority of the visitors I observed there were of Caucasians, not sure. I can only sate what I have experienced. Alot of things needs t b fixed and changed there, you cannot be spending you r money and at the end of the day, there is nothing you can feel good about after leaving..... If you need to iron your clothes, you must borrow the iron from the front desk which opens at 8am. You awake and feeling ill, you must wait for the kitchen to open at 8am.....This is unacceptable and I would advise those looking for somewhere to experience a wonderful time, even a neutral good time to seek elsewhere. This is not the place; you will be disappointed and for some dawn right angry.... I tried getting just someone to listen and even offer that speak to someone in Management or something to even share my concerns, they all ignored me.
