The food options were good.

1. Before arriving I received a call then called back and spoke with someone don't remember the name at 12:13pm Friday 9/5/25 expressing concern about my payment when I let them know I would be paying when I arrived because that's the option I picked when booking they proceeded with a nasty attitude that my card wasn't going through and I needed a new card NOW. I told them it would be 2 hrs before that can happen, and they said we'll if it's not going through in 2 hrs they will call back and cancel my reservation. Fun way to start vacation, right?? 2. I received the room and first Nighy a roach in the bathroom gross. The second day, another roach crawled on the bathroom ceiling. 3. Some red stains on the sheets at the foot of the bed. 4. Black spots on the under side of 2 pillow cases. I know I may not have spent a lot for my stay, so it probably doesn't matter to yall, but I would still like at least better treatment. Would I return? Probably not.

Staff was very very pleasant and courteous. Enjoyed the stay, enjoyed the room, enjoyed it all. Indoor pool and hot tub were a plus. Well done.

Staff were super friendly, hotel room was very clean had everything needed, parking was very accommodating and easy access to the main entrance.

The staff was amazing except the maintenance man! Front desk/service desk wonderful, kitchen staff wonderful , maid was wonderful! The maintenance guy lied and said he was in our room to assess the situation but he never came. He made it not worth being there. Food variety for breakfast was limiting and need more tea options for non coffee drinkers. Social day was great! The service for that day was excellent and met a few new friends!

Once again another Homewood Suites by Hilton gave away my room and then tried to get me take a room on a lower floor. This has gotten old real fast. This is the second Homewood Suites by Hilton in the Columbia, SC area that has done this to me. Do they have an issue with senior women travelling by themselves conducting business? I refused the room they wanted to have and told them I wanted my money back. I am done with the Hilton brand. Also, LEARN how to read hyphenated names you morons!
