Game drive; friendly staff

Lovely place and setting! Great family game drives. Food was amazing the first night but not as great the second night. The staff, especially the chef serving staff were unfriendly, borderline rude. Small requests were met with disdain and we found it exceptionally disappointing for the premium prices charged for such sub standard service. The family rooms are a tad tired too but clean 😴

Generally the facilities and service are good , but not really suitable for people with disabilities. Poor wheelchair access

A great time to silence the world and just indulge in nature and the beautiful world. Always great to see the Elephants in Pilanesberg and the Rhinos. The old gentle giants of the world

From the moment we arrived at the lodge we were looked after. Amazing service and loved the game drives so much that we purchased an additional two from the two that was part of our package We saw the big 5 and the game rangers were very knowledgeable and fun

As timeshare owners, we have visited Kwa Maritane on many, many occasions and we’ve always been extremely happy with the quality of accommodation, meals and service. A first class establishment!

Pros: Free Game drives; half boards options; wild life viewing on your backyard; restaurant staff are very friendly. Cons: have to bring your free water from your room to the rrstaurant because it's not free while dining in. Early check out at 1000, can request later check out but it's additional 600 per hour; no conditioners only shampoo and body wash available; robes are rough; you can not view your TV from the beds.

We always have enjoyed our visits to Kwa Maritane, and the standards have been consistently maintained from our perspective. However, Kwa Maritane needs more interaction with Parks Board on the quality of the roads and access to animals in the park. The Pilanesburg Centre is being upgraded and what we have seen so far has been good.

Great service, the rooms, food and friendly staff was worth it. the game drive was amazing and very informative. the Boma dinner was a definite highlight.

My wife and I traveled through Pilansberg for the day and ended it at Kwa Maritane with a late afternoon lunch. The food was great and the view spectacular. Loved it. A special mention to Jacob our waiter. He took it on himself and arranged a platter with cream, strawberries dipped in chocolate. Grapes,cake, biltong and more. Thank you Jocob. You made it unforgettable.
