Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge

The only minus i have is that the location is a bit further away then the other one, so it was about 20min extra driving for each-drop of and pick-up.

We had such a wonderful stay and the staff was very friendly. We had car problems, and they assisted us with a smile. Pushing a fully loaded bakkie is not easy. The game drive and our game ranger was out of the books. Saw almost every animal in the reserve, only those that are really hiding we did not see.

Looking to relax - Excellent breakaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Very relaxing. Hopefully next time I see some canines

if you are on a wheelchair as I was, you can only use the top part of the main restaurant and you can go on game drives, you can't use the spa as the treatment rooms are up stairs and the access to be level with the watering hole is down stair, the hide is also not accessible (but there is a camera to watch, so that's okay) There are paths but they are really uneven and the ramps are really steep. The rooms are very dated, but clean and the staff are really friendly. The food is good, but not really accessible, you need help to dish up. For able bodies visitors the facilities are good

Rooms and bathrooms were clean, staff was very friendly at check-in. The view to the mountains is exceptionally beautiful. The Bar service was exceptionally slow and there was no security guard at the main gate when we drove out early hours of the morning, the boom gate was left open.

Nice and comfortable stay. The Spa treatments were good. Easy travel to get there as we live in the North West Province

We will definitely be going back! Oct was a great time of the year. So easy to get into the Pilansberg or jsut to spend the day relaxing in close proximity to the animals

I have been going to Kwa Maritane since the age of 12 I am now 52 and still have that same feeling every we enter the gates, excitement and peace at the same time. Kwa Maritane is my home away from home and look forward to every visit.

As the family we all liked and enjoyed the animal trips experiencing the morning breeze and the sunrise. The kids did not want to leave the heated pool!
