"Royal Russian Hotel"

Great Location near Hermitage Museum ! Beautiful Royal looking palace Hotel. Love the rooftop pool. Was given a upgrade from standard Suite to Executive Suite. Nice Big Room with beautiful treatments !

"very nice and even nicer"

Just a great hotel, staff was extremely helpful ( spoke English very well throughout staff) had trouble getting a pot of tea to my room and woman at front desk was extremely helpful and got me my tea. thanks Catherine. perfect place to travel to all the sites I needed to see.

"Excellent hotel but don't take soft drinks from the minibar"

Everything about the hotel was fantastic from our enormous luxurious room, location and facilities. Only issues were that my pre-paid booking through Hotels.com was not accepted at the front desk (another guest had the same problem through another site) so I had to pay upfront for 2 nights and this was subsequently deemed to be the hotels fault. Don't think the soft drinks are free in the minibar because they are not but really should be for a 5* Hotel with a small juice of 50ml costing 200 RUB which is enough to buy 2 litres in a shop nearby. TV reception was not excellent and local calls are not free. Apart from the lessons learned will definitely stay here again and location near Nevsky Prospect is close to all shops, museums and city highlights.

"Beautiful hotel, central location."

This beautiful hotel is in a great location right in the centre of St Petersburg. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the rooms are very comfortable. Wifi is free and works well which is a bonus for business trips.

"World class luxury"

A1 experience from check in to check out. Great location close to 'must see' sites, museums and panoramas of the magnificent old imperial capital of Russia. The building is a well preserved and meticulously restored 18th century palace. It's worthwhile to spend several hours exploring and admiring the interiors. The hotel's atmosphere calls for 'slowing down', look around and enjoy staying in cozy luxury.

"This is THE best hotel I have ever stayed at!"

Over the years I have stayed at a LOAD of hotels, all over the world, as I travel a very great deal with my job. Lots of them are very fine but this one, the Taleon Imperial, is my all time favourite! It has absolutely spectacular architecture indoors - just see the photos of the bar area with the statues and columns. Absolutely OTT but wonderful at the same time. Our room was great (just the best bathroom ever), the pool is superb, wi-fi was faultless, good breakfast and superb staff. Plus it is in the ideal locatoin to visit the Winter Palace / Hermitage or take a boat trip or walk to any of the other sites. I can totally recommend it without any hesitation whatsover. Hooray for the Taleon Imperial! Spasiba!!

"Amazing Hotel in Fantastic location"

There are no adequate superlatives to describe this Hotel! Food was fantastic (Tomato Soup with King Prawns, yes I know! but fantastic). Only slight downside, as it was pre peak season not all the restaurants were open.
