"Comfortable, clean and easy."

This is a well appointed hotel within easy walking distance to the central business area in Darwin city as well as the waterfront.Bus stops close by to get out in the suburbs, supermarket. Our 4 day stay was made easy and very comfortable and can recommend this hotel and location. AnnC

Location is superb

A constant odour in the corridor, getting to the laundry is like walking through a maze. Why not have a laundry on each of the three floors of the hotel

Pillows were all a bit thick - a range would be great. No duvet on bed (only sheet) which wasn't that comfortable. A shelf in the shower to put stuff would be helpful. Room was just a bit tired and dated - valance falling off bed, drawers in bedside tables not working, burn mark on desk, etc.

Location

2 star property for 4 star price. For $350p/n one would expect a functional shower but it was half the normal water flow - our caravan was better. Wifi un-usable for anything other than checking email, 4 Mbit download speed. Bed lumpy and uncomfortable, like the property dated & rundown. Thin carpet, can hear surrounding guests clomping around. 1 star for location only.

Lovely staff. Good layout - loved having two bathrooms for two couples. So handy to have an in-room washing machine

The bed I slept in on the second visit needed replacing & furnishings a bit tired

"So Helpful, Great Location"

We really enjoyed our stay at the Metro. The staff were so helpful and professional. Very clean - rooms a little uninspiring and worn in parts but could not fault cleanness or comfort. Location perfect - easy walk to the hustle and bustle, close to Wollies and bus stop but lovely and quiet.

Staff and location great. Lounge suite needs to be replaced as it is tattered, torn and old. Sun lounges by the pool should be supplied
