Carmel Inn & Suites

The hotel room is worn out. They need to fix the floor, it feel you are going sideways and there is a bump in the middle of the floor that can make you trip. No elevator. The cleaning need to be detailed, the toilet was dirty. Also the alarm clock when off at 5:00 a.m. and woke us up. We did not set it up. Great customer service!

Good place to stay. Nice room. Close to everything. Our tv didnt work but we didnt care. And never asked them to fix. Would stay again

The location. Walking and driving distance to many food and shopping place as well as destination spots such as Monterey.

On a cool day it is not bad at all. However on the occasional warm day the room I was in was incredibly warm and there is no AC in the room. Because me room was located in the corner the windows was against a building and I had no air flow. The staff was excellent with getting me a fan to cool the room.

Staff were nice, manager never reply to a concern. The room had spider webs, holes in the bed spreads, curtains were brown when supposed to be white. I could fully hear next rooms conversation and noises from other room moving around.

I don’t have high standards for cleanliness, but this room was nowhere close to what it should be. Needed to put shoes on after showering because there was a layer of dust across the whole room. There was also a jacket left in a closet from a prior guest. The bed felt dirty & I woke up with a spider bite on my leg one morning. Furniture in general felt like it was a donation from goodwill. All around, just an unpleasant stay.

Cleanest mom & pops hotel I have ever seen. Parking was easy. It is walkable to restaurants and shops but has some hills. Great place to stay.

The rooms inside are decorated like 1960s. The bed like of hard.

The pool was out of service/ empty and no breakfast provided.
