It's charming surrounds as you are in the middle of nowhere without any public transport

Some of the staff were very unpleasant as I was there for a wedding and although it's a 5 star hotel it smelled of fish and cooking fat even at other parts of the hotel, the smell of weed was present at all times as if someone has been smoking it in a room again very unpleasant and the cost for things were so highly priced it didn't meet the quality or expectation to justify it. I can't even begin to tell you how bad the experience was.

Peaceful and classic decor. The room was very very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The lounge was lovely.

Some decor was a bit dated, the bathroom was a bit old.

The room was spacious and ready when we arrived. The service in the main guest area was good and we were served promptly. Breakfast on the second morning was pleasant and service was much better.

The room was not made up after our first night. There were no mini toiletries in the room, but pictured on some of the hotels photographs. I wonder if we did not have them, as we booked via Booking.com? There was also no water in the room or even a fridges. The cost of the stay was in no way a reflection on what we actually got. The stay was pleasant, but certainly not value for money . The breakfast and service on the first morning was poor. Cheap juices and yoghurt is not something I would have expected.
