Grand Cayman Marriott Resort

This was not a great experience for me! It’s a money pit for tourist. The hotel is not secure! Anyone can walk in and go to the floors and gym. There is no key entrance/exit for the elevator. They do not take Discover and it’s not posted on their website. It’s very hard to get a taxi so get your taxi drivers card from the airport transportation. The guys are the front desk are amazing and accommodating, the women not so much. This place is for couples only. There is nothing to do outside of relaxing and water stuff at the hotel. I came home a day early for this reason. The concierge did not want to be there. She gave no suggestions on things to do.

Although my stay at Grand Cayman Marriott Resort took place during the first week of August 2025, I was unfortunately unable to successfully post my review on TripAdvisor at that time. I am sincerely hoping this review is finally captured because the exceptional service I experienced absolutely deserves recognition. Please accept my apologies for the delayed review, but I could not allow such outstanding hospitality to go unacknowledged. From the moment I arrived until my departure, the staff consistently demonstrated warmth, professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care that made my stay truly memorable. A heartfelt thank you to Belle, Nancy, and Kayan for their exceptional service during my dining experiences. Their kindness, attentiveness, and joyful spirit made every meal special. Special appreciation also goes to Nina, the hostess, whose welcoming presence and thoughtful hospitality stood out throughout my stay. What touched me most was the beautiful surprise the hostess and servers arranged in anticipation of my birthday, which was to take place the following week. They presented me with a slice of cake and sang a birthday song for me — an incredibly thoughtful gesture that made me feel genuinely celebrated and appreciated while away from home. It is a memory I will never forget. I also want to recognize Kenneth, Jayden, Amanda, and Stephanie at the front desk for their professionalism, efficiency, and gracious assistance throughout my stay. Runako, the Food and Beverage Manager, clearly leads with excellence, as the spirit of hospitality and teamwork was evident across the dining staff and overall guest experience. Finally, special thanks to Nealy for outstanding assistance with baggage services and courtesy transportation. His friendliness and professionalism added greatly to the comfort of my visit. This was not simply a hotel stay; it was a true expression of hospitality at its finest. I highly recommend the Grand Cayman Marriott to anyone visiting the Cayman Islands and look forward to returning in the future.

Everything was amazing from start to finish. The resort was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. The amenities, location, and overall experience exceeded expectations,truly nothing not to love. This was my second time staying here.

One of our favourite trips as a family. Went for a babymoon - couldn't have asked for a better backdrop. Alia at the front desk genuinely made us feel welcome from the second we walked in. And she was super helpful - warm, attentive, remembered us by name. Jordan at concierge was a gem and super nice guy. Really good pool service by Jerome. And a special shoutout to housekeeping for room 546 - kept the room spotless without us having to ask for anything. We left relaxed, recharged, and will definitely come back. Highly recommend!

We are on 3rd floor courtyard. - the a/c unit sounds like a tornado alarm. Just called front desk - “I’ll see what I can do.” This has been going on for 5 hours. Tv didn’t work either. $600 a night - wtf? Shockingly poor customer service. Pool/beach is nice.

Equipe muito atenciosa. Hotel limpo. Quarto limpo, amplo e bem decorado, cama, travesseiros, muito bons. Boa opção de Restaurantes. Café da manhã fantástico. Sempre com um DJ ao final da tarde para animar o ambiente. Acesso a praia seven mille beach.

Pontos a melhorar: Armário pequeno no quarto. Jardins e Área de Lazer necessitam de revitalização.

Excellent family experience at this Marriott resort. The children’s programming was a highlight of our trip. Staff members Junita and Minu were exceptionally friendly and provided creative, engaging activities that kept our 6-year-old daughter excited throughout the stay. She was so impressed that she checked the schedule daily to ensure she was there for every event. Highly recommended for families.
