Stay Express Inn Near Ft. Sam Houston

Need to update the tvs. The rest rooms needed better service and room service was ok but not all good but i might return.

Staff was friendly and professional. Room was clean, although there was a huge fly in the room that I was sure I had killed and it either showed up again or there were 2. Neighbor hood was ok. Its not too far from restraunts and walmart. I would stay again.

This place was horrible. The pictures are not close to what this hotel is. The bed was a king size box spring with a smaller mattress. Everything was extremely out dated on the inside. Oh the outside was fine, inside dirty, smelly and a dump. Never stay here again. Continental Breakfast? If you want to call stale several day old mini-muffins, bagels and froot loops a continental breakfast not ok. Let me repeat myself. A DUMP

Like most of the reviews you get what you pay for. The Roadway is in a very good location. Staff very helpful and room was clean when i had a problem staff was there to fix it in less then 5min. Parking was a bit small but nothing happen to my car. Area very quite at night and there is always something open nearby to eat

The hotel was dated but the reception and treatment of the check-in person/manager was unbelievable. He was so rude. I checked in, took my key and went to inspect the room. We'd booked a single, non-smoking room. I entered a smoking, smoky room with a dirty ashtray. I closed the door and returned to the front desk to request a non-smoking room. The manager actually yelled and screamed at me to, call the man (my boss) that booked my room and tell him that he made a mistake. Call him now. Do you hear me? Call him now. If I'd had a choice, I would have cancelled my reservations and moved them elsewhere at once. Then I had unwelcome knock on my door wanting to know if I needed to be serviced. I had women with children knock on my door trying to sell me mardi-gras beads. These unwanted knocks came at all hours. I do not ever plan to return to this hotel unless it has been leveled and replaced with at least different and courteous management.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed from the past 6 years.

I actually found a different hotel to stay at. You get what you pay for....I selected this place due to the cost. I was going for a conference and was not going to be in the room at all...just needed a place to sleep. The bed had to be at least 20 years old and the sheets had cigarette burns all over. The room was as clean as it could be however it was just in need of a makeover. The owners were very kind however they need to invest in their property a little bit and not be so cheap. This place had what seemed to be permanent residents...not really the place I felt safe staying in.

Good hotel for fair price

Everything was fine but t.v.channels sucked and maids never came in to clean or give new towels

They said that we reserved a Non smoking room and they gave us a smoking room
