Shinta Mani Angkor

Everything about our stay was truly delightful — from the impeccable service and welcoming hotel to the thoughtful attention and heartfelt generosity. It transformed our trip into a paradise-like experience. I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to discover this for themselves, especially at the villa. A romantic weekend here becomes an unforgettable, unparalleled memory.

De totale ervaring was top. De kamer, het zwembad, het ontbijt, de ligging, de service; Alles was super. Vanwege het vroege bezoek aan Angkor Wat kregen we ontbijt mee. Dat was denk ik het beste 'to go' ontbijt dat we ooit hebben meegekregen.

- schönes und großes Resort - toller, riesiger Pool mit viel grün - die Zimmer sind sauber und komfortabel - schönes Frühstück mit viel Auswahl - das Restaurant Kroya ist großartig - die Bensley Bar - Trinkwasserspender auf jeder Etage - schöne ruhige Lage Im gesamten ist es ein sehr schönes Resort das wir wieder buchen werden. Beim nächsten Mal würden wir eine Junior Suite buchen.

- Die Fliesen des Pools sind nicht gut befestigt. Wir haben uns an abgebrochen Fliesen im Pool den Fuß verletzt - Die Zimmer im 3. Stock, in der Nähe des Luftabzugs der Küche sind etwas dunkel, beengt, laut und der Balkon ist sehr klein. - Das Personal ist am Pool leider nicht aufzufinden. Es gibt auch keine Pool Speisekarte. Wir mussten stets selber in das Restaurant gehen und dort bestellen. Das war nervig. - Die Matratzen sind schon durchgelegen, ich hab mir die Matratze selber umgedreht. - Unser Zimmer wirkte kleiner als angegeben.

The reception and restaurant staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home — always helpful, welcoming, and quick with a smile. They also come up with great restaurant recommendations in the area. My spouse and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shinta Mani Angkor. The rooms were clean and comfortable, featuring beautiful wooden interior decor, well-thought-out amenities, and an excellent patio overlooking the pool. The atmosphere was pleasantly uncrowded, and the restaurant impressed us as well. We particularly appreciated the drink service to the pool, and the thoughtful touch of placing towels right beside it was a nice detail that did not go unnoticed.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We booked a villa and our dedicated 'butler', Van, was really great. He was never pushy or intrusive but always available to help in any way we asked or might need. Breakfast was great with a wide range of buffet options (egg station, bread and pastry, fruit, juice, French toast and pancake, congee and Shu Mai) and some a la carte options as well like traditional Khmer soups, avocado toast, etc. Location was excellent - walkable to most everything in town. Tuktuks also hang out right by the entrance so you can always get one if you need. The decor is great and it really felt like a luxurious getaway! The hotel can help you book tours if you'd like, and again the staff did a great job of offering this service but not pushing.

The only small annoyance - which is likely specific to me - is that the only shower in our villa was outside. Because I'm so often bit by mosquitoes and we visited at the start of the rainy season, I had to do a lot of planning to take showers at the right time and not store my clothing in the beautiful closet because it was more prone to bugs getting in. This certainly isn't a huge deal, more just a slight drawback to this design, especially during the off season.

The atmosphere of the hotel is very peaceful, the decor is exceptional, the breakfast and restaurant meals were great.

The hotel is very beautiful, however the layout was a bit confusing to me. There are multiple buildings which gives it its charm, but confused me a bit. They explained the layout upon check in but I still was a bit confused. The fitness room was quite small, Ok for one person. I had a very good massage but the masseuse talked lot and was very pushy about a tip.
