Aquila Elounda Village Resort, Suites & Spa

Very nice 5 star- hotel with great rooms, great private beach, professional people. The food is high quality and fresh. The room and entire resort were spotless . The team is globally pleasant and professional - especially Iro at front desk and Sofia at the restaurant (Always smiling and on top of their game!). The cleaning ladies (rooms 201 to 216) and the guy for mini bar replenishment were awesome also . The only 2 things perhaps requiring attention: the lifeguard of the Infinity pool keeps talking loudly all day long with other employees- not very professional while preventing clients to live a fully zen expérience. The drinks even water are very costly if you have only half-board.

We were already talking about coming back.

We had the most amazing 2 weeks in May and thought that cannot be bettered it was truly incredible. Michalis said we would have a better time, next time and he was right it has been spectacular. Got to say what a fantastic Gm he is a really great and kind man apart from the whipping . Got in late straight to bed after a wonderful welcome .Next Morning the Magic started when we met with Maria, got upgraded to an amazing room . Magic always happens with Maria she is a truly amazing lady and any compliments i give are not enough ( just Special). Haris and Maurikios what a beautiful pair of Men they are completely genuine and Amazing can’t praise them enough . The Guys that run the restaurants are amazing Nikos , George , Yannis and Michalis wow . The front of house team who work with Eleni are fantastic nothing is a problem . The beach bar with Stellios , Zia and team are so great can’t wait to see Fotini and Jimmy next year x. Lobby bar what can i say amazing staff Stellios , Elleni the glider , Maria x 2 , Lianna. Did not plan it but why the wonderful Katerina was singing, i got caught up with everything . Went and bought a ring of the most wonderful Charmaine and got Engaged. Booked for May and we will be back i September to finish what we started last month . Cannot mention everyone the list is to long Konstantinos what a star , Nikos And the amazing and wonderful Anastasia xxx. Booked for may too long to wait 😢 to see you all . It was a very pleasant experience. We have a great time and enjoy the magnificent facilities of the resort. We will come back for sure.

This is our second year staying at the Elounda Village, and will continue to be an annual visit for us. The location is outstanding with panoramic views over the sea and equally as beautiful as the photographs seen on their website. The rooms are spacious and well equipped and the main buffet served daily has an excellent choice befitting it’s 5* rating. We can only start to begin to commend the excellent and attentive staff. Nothing and no request is a problem, everyone is committed to giving their guests a first class experience. We would like to make a special mention to Maria Dretaki, guest relations manager. Her warmth and commitment is an asset to the company, Maria has been part of the reason we will be coming back to the Elounda Village each year, but I’m sure she makes everyone feel special. The restaurant staff and front of house remain friendly and helpful. If you want a 5* relaxing holiday with fantastic food and a spectacular location, we can highly recommend this resort. The best thing by far was the staff! Always very attentive but the pool, bar, in the restaurants and at reception. I noted that I did not have a preference on Expedia to request two single beds, so I messaged the hotel through Expedia, this message for some reason was not received despite receiving a message. However, the hotel managed to sort a temporary solution and moved rooms after 2 days. The food at the buffet was very good with lots of options. The hotel itself was a little dated, with some rooms different than others. The gym lacked free weights and only had a cable machine and cardio machines, I think that could be improved on. If you don’t have a car it may be a little difficult to get around, though the small town/ village of Elounda is just about walkable. Overall we had a great stay and I would recommend this hotel if your looking to stay in the Elounda area.

Stunning grounds kept impeccably and the food was fabulous so much choice. Staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you, I would definitely recommend.

A fabulous view across the bay this hotel did not disappoint. Great accommodation and we upgraded to the room with a private pool, well worth it. Great buffet breakfast with plenty of choice the alternative restaurants where an affordable treat with an extensive wine list offering both local and regional mainland options. I can recommend this hotel to friends and family.
