Fairfield Inn Kansas City Downtown/Union Hill

Conveniently located to great restaurants, WWI museum and other attractions. It was clean and quiet.

Breakfast was great. Toddlers approved

Carpets in hallways and rooms could be replaced but had a great experience

The bed was comfortable, staff pleasant and facility clean. We liked how it was located right next to where you pick up the streetcar.

Wishing that our room was a direct walk to the breakfast area without having to go outside to get there.

The remodeled room was nice and bed was cozy.

It was not mentioned that you had to pay $20 a night at check-in to park in the hotel parking lot. The majority of the staff was rude when questions were asked as a tourist; only two were nice and helpful. I was not allowed to pay for items in the convenience store outright; I had to let them charge my room or card. My experience in Kansas City as a whole, starting with the hotel, was unfriendly and unpleasant. I’m not sure if I will return to see any of the wonderful attractions because of this experience.

Really nice front desk staff. Great location by the free train. Clean.

We had a good night’s sleep in a clean room with a hot breakfast before hitting the road. Not much around to eat for dinner.
