Beautiful location on the river…the private onsen baths were very nice and much larger than expected and were easy to find openings many times in the night and morning. Perfect temperature. The hotel traditional breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

we spent a night in the hotel so we can start hiking Kumano Kodo early next day. nice hotel, they claim they have the biggest outdoor hot spring pool, but we used smaller family pool, the setting is very like outdoor pool.

The bath are great, very beautiful and very big. The private baths are very big! The breakfast was nice but there was too much to eat.

The hotel is quite old and would probably need renovation. The diner was very expansive and not that good for my taste. There was way too much too eat at every meal.
