TownePlace Suites by Marriott Las Cruces

We had a very pleasant stay. Great location near the freeway and a map in the lobby showing the area along with different shops and restaurant locations. Not too noisy on the side of the hotel we were on which faced the freeway. Check in was fast and efficient as was the checkout. Clean and spacious suite with a very nice large sized desk to work at and a full refrigerator, stove and utensils. The windows open which is cool. The bed was a bit firmer than I am used to so I wasn't as comfortable but I did get good nights sleep. Some heavy footed person sounded as if they were stomping over my head when I was in the living room but it was not too terrible that i had to call the front desk. I could hear the freeway just a little bit in the still of the night in the bedroom and the heavy footed guest over my head was up at 5:00am to stomp a bit and in the early morning quiet it was somewhat loud but I went back to sleep so it was ok. Good thing I am not too light of a sleeper. Breakfast was good but I did not care for the sausage links though the sausage patties were highly tasty. The do it yourself waffle came out crispy on the outside and light and delicate on the inside but did not have much flavor. Excellent tasting orange and apple juice. Good eggs and bagels. Nick at the front desk was outstanding. The entire staff including housekeeping is friendly and welcoming and Nick truly shined. He remembered me and my husband's names and always gave us a shout out and asked how we were doing whenever he saw us. He genuinely made our pleasant stay even brighter. Kudos to all of the staff including the nice lady at breakfast who was heading to get bread when she saw it was low and told me to hold on so I could have more choices. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a brilliant stay in this hotel for just under 1 month. The staff are beyond fantastic and looked after us so well. The room was just what we needed, the breakfast fantastic and it felt like a home from home. Nick, Alex and the team were superb, especially with our children. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

I stayed at Towneplace Suites for the first time of any Towneplace Suites when I stayed in Las Cruces, NM on a business trip from Orlando, Fl. to White Sands Missile Range, NM.. My stay was a pleasant experience. Great/clean rooms! Great atmosphere! Great Continental Breakfast! Great Area! My greatest compliment is the staff's integrity. I accidentally left behind some expensive blue-tooth earbuds in my room and I thought I lost them forever. My thought was the cleaning staff or the next guest would find them and take them as their own. When I returned home, I called the hotel and explained my loss. To my surprise, the hotel clerk notified me that the earbuds were found and placed it on hold to FedEx them to me. Several weeks later they were delivered to me by FedEx. I want to commend the cleaning staff, the administrative lobby staff for their integrity and honesty. Although the earbuds are replaceable, they were given to me as a Christmas Gift from a loved one. It was their thoughtful gift that I cherish, not the earbuds themselves. TownePlace Suites provided the means for me to continue the cherishing of the gift because of a staff with great integrity. I will definitely stay here again upon another business trip. Thank You!

The amenities were adequate to the facility. However, the beds were absolutely terrible to sleep on. If you have had surgery recently, joint pain, etc. do not stay here pay the extra cost and be comfortable in a nearby hotel. Linens were adequate.

Hands down the best hotel we have ever stayed at

An outstanding find for the quality of the place and the front desk staff Alex Lopez. From the beginning he made me feel " welcome back at my home in Las Cruces." Always available and very resourceful. This hotel is an amazing value: great quality at a great price, with breakfast included ! Big, clean suites, well stocked, a nice heated pool with a grill, all focused on delivering comfort to both business and individual travelers as well as families. I was very happy.

We just completed a 7 day road trip staying at all Marriott properties. All were very good except this location. The hotel is very old - small cluttered lobby, narrow dark hallways, small rooms, tiny bathrooms, and the smallest TV I've ever seen in a hotel. The biggest problem, however, was room cleaning. During our short stay I stepped on 3 sand burs on the carpet. Sand burs are small pea sized things covered with sharp spikes and very painfull to step on with barefeet. They likely were brought into the room by dogs and not removed from the carpet by housecleaning. For the rest of our stay we wore shoes in the room. I tried to discuss my concerns with Assistant G M( Nick), but he did not call me as promised and never returned my calls. This is a bad property with bad management.

Breakfast was satisfactory. Good variety. Location for me was good as I needed to get on 70 to white sands.

I didn’t sleep more than an hour at this hotel due to noise not only at night but with employees starting at 5am shouting down the hallways. Not to mention uncontrollable barking from one of the rooms down the hall.
