Elite Hotel Mestre Venice

Really not sure what to say about this place... The photos on Expedia make it looks like a modern boutique hotel but the reality is far from that. The outside and the main area is very modern and clean, but the room we were in was on par with a $50 motel room. Everything inside the room was stained, damaged and looked unclean. Furnitures looked like they were all bought from the clearance section of Walmart. There were bugs flying all over the room. The location is good if you just want to into Venice. However around the hotel there are virtually nothing within half an hour walk.

Amazing stay lovely staff, very easy into Venice city 15 min tram. Spa was great and super clean only annoying thing was had to wear a swimming hat. Thank you

Great hotel. Really comfortable. Beds and all facilities in the room were really good. Would definitely stay again. We had some printing needed for an onward trip, alap needed assistance a few times including for a taxi, and this was all no bother for the staff to assist. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful every day. Breakfast was great, other than the orange juice, which let’s face it hotels always always have naff juices. Very clean hotel and rooms. Modern interior and feel. The location is good for the centre of Mestre. 10 mins walk into the city. But even better for Venice. Ideally located for the trains and if you drive into Venice like us, just a 15 min drive to the multi story car park on the island. The hotel also has a car park. Probably around 30 spaces. It is limited and there’s an additional charge (set out in the small print on hotels.com hotel info). We didn’t pre-book as I wanted to see what roadside parking there was. The parking roadside is plentiful, but also chargeable. There wasn’t a massive difference in price and with the added hassle of downloading an Italian app, trying to translate and pay, it was just easier paying for the hotel car park. I would pre-book though, as we were lucky to get a space/ booking as the carpark was pretty much full every day we were there. We always had a spot though.

Staff was not friendly both at front desk and breakfast area

I loved staying here. I had come back from a dirty Airbnb and seeing my room so clean was reassuring. I would definitely stay here again. I didn’t use the spa because I was there just for a short time and I wanted to get out and do stuff in Venice.

1- I asked for 2 beds and got one that we split in two ourselves and shared sheets2-The AC did not work, an employee came to try and fix it and still didn’t work no other room was offered to us. The pool is not part of the hotel you need to pay about 14 euro each to have access and it closes at 9 pm. Breakfast was typical and 38 euro for 2 . Would not go back.

This hotel was pretty inside. The breakfast was plentiful. The hotel staff was helpful. The hotel is about 20 mins by $1.50 tram to the main area of Venice. I preferred this area as I didn't have to drag luggage all over Venice to the hotel. Bus #15 from airport stops right in front of hotel for only $1.50. if I go to Venice again I will stay here again.

In general it was good. Breakfast was awesome. Staff are friendly. Bedroom carpet floor not very clean. Our bedroom was smelling of cigarettes, that is the only negative thing. We bought tram tickets from the hotel. Apparently, you need to activate them when you get on the tram. They didnt tell us and we didnt know. We got fined for 100 euros. Do I rent this place again? yes, in general we liked it.

Good but the extras to access the spa were not interesting (pay for a specific kind of flip flops and a cap for the hair was not mentioned when we checked in)
