Rodeway Inn Encinitas North

This is our 4th time in Encinitas and we always stay at the Rodeway inn. So, it's our 4th time. The Inn is perfect - affordable, close to the beach, convenient to stores and everywhere. Large rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, no smell of old carpet, great value/price ratio and overall an excellent experience.

I had a really positive experience at Rodeway Inn Encinitas North, and I especially want to recognize Jack. He went above and beyond to accommodate me and made what could have been a stressful situation feel much easier. He was kind, professional, helpful, and genuinely attentive. It’s rare to come across someone who makes you feel that taken care of, and I really appreciated his effort and hospitality. Thank you, Jack, for making my stay a good one!

Even though this location it’s being remodeled, there were endless issues. Service was not existent neither friendly yet I had to pay extra service fee on site. Sink would take too long to go down the drain. Other sink by kitchen was non operational. Bathroom shower had no holder for body wash, soap, shampoo so we had to put everything on the floor. Entire room was full of dust meaning it had not been wiped out or cleaned at all. Entire stay was a disaster and if it wasn’t because it was late at night when I checked in and my kids were super sleepy I would have just gone somewhere else which I am next time. This location will not be getting my business in future visits to the area. Office clerk was the cherry on top she did not care for any of my concerns and blamed everything on the booking.com website not type of accountability and extremely rude. She act as she was doing me a favor or I had to beg for her to do her job. This place needs to get inspected immediately.

The new updated room was SOO nice. I absolutely loved it, the bathroom shower was amazing , and the little kitchen was a great plus to have even if we didn’t use it. The location is super nice and so is the staff ! We would definitely come back.

Only complaint I could have would be that there was ants coming in and out of the bathroom each day that we were there no matter what we did , even with no food for them to get to. There was just tons of ants sneaking in.
