GF GRAN COSTA ADEJE*****

Good bits... Nice clean hotel. Rooms made up every day. Nice pool areas. Good wifi. Nice staff. Nice rooms / bathrooms. Nice to see the no reserving sun beds rule being enforced but you'll always get one who think that rules don't apply to them even though the signs are in the lift and pool area. Not so good bits... Food very poor ( I have stayed in 3 to 4 star hotels with 5 star quality food , definitely not 5 star quality here) Whats going on with 1 of the lifts , its not been working since we arrived and was not working weeks before our visit , good luck in the Peak season. Air con needs looking as that was poor too. Quing up for meals , that could do with being looked into to speed things up. Would I stop here again?... yeah I probably would but I would go b+b because the food let's this place down , please take on board the reviews about the food and do something about it. NOT A FIVE STAR HOTEL.

I returned from this wonderful hotel on the 1st May. Unfortunately, other commitments have delayed me writing this review until now. My partner and I are frequent visitors to the GF Gran Costa Adeje. We were due to be on holiday just after it opened after refurbishment in October 2025, but family illness meant we had to cancel our trip. Consequently, we were really looking forward to our stay. As always, GF Gran Costa Adeje was exceptional. The refurbishment is of a high quality, and the new rooms are fitted out to a very high standard. We were in room 1113 overlooking the pools and it was beautiful. For anyone who has not visited the hotel before, it is home to the most comfortable sunbeds ever!! It is so easy to fall asleep on them!! There are several pools around the hotel and there really is something for everyone. At this point, I’m going to mention the wonderful staff. They consistently go above and beyond for guests. My partner is Gluten Intolerant, and this is one of the best examples of gluten free service we have ever seen. My partner visited the reception desk every night and was able to order a gluten free lunch and dinner for the following day which was served to her by the staff as soon as we entered the restaurant. Marta on reception went above and beyond and we look forward to seeing her again when we return. In the restaurant, special mentions must be given to Jose Picanto and Besay whose Customer Service is second to none. The food service in this hotel really is wonderful. There are very large food counters on a buffet basis, again all clearly marked for those with food intolerances. If all else fails there is a pasta station where fresh pasta dishes are cooked in front of you. Absolutely superb. The entertainment is another strength of GF Gran Costa Adeje. The main stage has been moved in the recent refurbishment, and it is now located in a better place. One hint though, the speakers can be rather loud so it’s best to sit to one side!! Our next booking back to this lovely hotel will be being made shortly!!

Nicely presented hotel, rooms are bright with lots of storage. Air conditioning was rubbish and does not work well at all (other guests experienced the same). Staff friendly and helpful. Entertainment was decent, the usual fare. Pools are clean and good to see the ‘no reserving sun beds’ being enforced (people’s stuff regularly taken away before 10am), however pool deck area was pretty dirty (just hosing down rather than washing it like they did at the GF Victoria). Food was decent, generally very tasty and not bland/beige - different theme every night. Unusual AI concept - lots of things not included. Getting water to the room was hard work - room service pretty ineffective - 6 times of asking and it finally arrived. Lifts are dodgy - we were trapped in one and others experienced the same. They clearly didn’t refurbish them nor the air conditioning. Overall a nice hotel with a few niggles to put right if they want people to think they are a 5*….

Rooms good. Definitely not 5star. Dining room - a cafeteria and very noisy. Probably good for families with young children. Beach down steep hill. Went to Lanzarote in March with Jet2 and stayed at H10 hotel. No comparison. Mel Jet2 staff member very helpful. Won’t be returning.

Returned from 10 night stay ,6th time in this hotel, first time seems refurbishment. E mailed hotel to try and request same room or similar as previous visits ,reply said they would be hopeful to accommodate, unfortunately not the case room allocated was opposite side ,same floor,anyhow rooms are spruced up,nice with plenty cupboard space, kettle for making coffee or tea,which was ok,hotel.pool area still the same plenty of beds no issues ,entertainment was ok most nights, but the biggest let down was the food ,and drink ,pool.bar chicken was stringy with soggy crisps ,the restaurant at night had varied choice,but unfortunately the meat on occasions was tough the soup basic sweets were ok ,house wine awful, cocktails watery ,really feel standards have dropped ,would I stay again possibly but only bed,and breakfast.

Beautiful hotel but you dont get "all inclusive" We paid for it but drinks aren't included. Only breakfast time and had a tab at the end to pay of yhe holiday as we had to buy our drinks at dinner and the evening. It was really shocking

Absolutely lovely hotel, everything was spot on A few downsides but no spoilers - The Gym!! Desperately needs air conditioning. And the beach is a good 15 minute walk. Apart from that! Staff, food, rooms everything is 5*

An excellent hotel with a great a choice of food and friendly staff. The hotel has a really nice pool area with plenty of comfy sun beds on offer. One of our highlights on holiday was going up to the Jungle Cocktail bar on the roof top. It’s a really nice chilling vibe and it’s clear to see that Claudia goes out her way to make sure you are welcome and have the best experience.
