Das Hotel ist im Lobby. Riesig, die Zimmer sind hingegen klein und arg ausgestattet.

Das Frühstück entspricht nicht dem 5 Sternhotel

"A fantastic, quality hotel with superb staff"

10.0

We love this hotel. It’s quality as soon as you walk through the door. Stunning lobby and very helpful and friendly staff from the cleaning staff, pool attendants, catering and reception staff. It is kept gorgeously clean and well maintained. The refurb of the spa did not negatively affect our time by the pool. The staff enforce the no reserve of sun beds rule which is a good-send. There are always many, many sun beds free so it doesn’t become a problem - this is a big bonus for us. We only stayed bed and breakfast and food was good with plenty of choice. Entertainment was okay but the highlight was The Three Tenors - very classy and fun. The room (standard) was lovely and large as was the bathroom. Lots of storage and wardrobe space. There was a broken elevator and one that had a broken button on floor 2 but that was only a niggle. My only recommendation would be to have small spoons or teaspoons next to yogurts as the spoons on the table are suitable for cereal but too large for small yogurt pots. A fantastic hotel.

"Lovely Stay"

10.0

I had my first solo holiday abroad and know the area so decided to stay at the Gran. I was allocated a room with a lovely view. The room was very comfortable with lots of storage, and a wonderful shower. I went half board and changed evening meal for lunch. I am coeliac and had no problems with food and if you order 24 hours before they will make you items from gluten free menu but I had plenty even without this. The best part of this hotel is the staff. Nothing is too much trouble, they were all friendly and smiling and really are an asset to this hotel.

"Great hotel.great location.extremely clean."

8.0

We have visited here numerous times over the years. First time since refurbishing. Rooms great Cleanliness great. Service great in restaurant and reception. Poolside restaurant average, when you are paying for food not all inclusive the offer should be better. One order was incomplete and they forgot one meal. But overall a very good experience, generally in the hotel. Only B&B so can’t comment on evening meal. Breakfast was great.

"Very relaxing stay."

10.0

I know some people just want to know the basics, so for you guys its clean, relaxing and good food. For those that want to know more read on. We normally stay closer to the front, but this was a bargain, half board only cost us 80 quid for the week, and although we only had lunch it was plentiful, hot and varied, one day fresh cooked venison, one day steak, chicken even duck, all fresh and hot. Our room was on floor 1 no.149 , perfect for both pool.and restaurants. The room was large clean and well appointed, one gripe is that the shower is too open so splashes on the floor, nice beds and good quality linen, although the towels could be a bit fluffier. At the minute the hotel is 3/4 full but there are always beds available.....yes you still get the annoying early bed reserve crew(embarrassing that are UK) but on occasion the towel police turn up and are brutal(good lads) the sun beds are comfortable and the pools are nice, bit chilly even though heated, but once in your fine. Staff are great, what ever you ask for they provide. There is a nice pool on the roof too with beds, but when the sun is full it is a bit hot. There is a large kids area at the rear which is always quiet, if you want peace and dont mind a paddling pool! There is a great mall next door with shops, bars and restaurants, try the boardwalk bar , great staff and drinks with live music Tuesday and Friday. The one thing that may put you off, is that everything else is down a steep hill , the beach and majority of restaurants and walking back up is a bugger, we tend to walk towards the harbour then turn back up for a more gradual incline. Breakfast is great, plenty of choice and egg guy can poach a mean egg. Definitely a return hotel.

"Pick the gf fannabe"

6.0

We have just returned back from a week at the gf gran Rooms are lovely, housekeeping team do a brilliant job. We took our own tea and coffee after reading other reviews, so glad we did they never fill them up unusual for a 5 star hotel, check in was good very easy, The lifts are a pain because you have to go up or down depending which floor you want one lift only goes so far then you have to get in another one finally got used to it after a few days. But the biggest problem with the hotel like loads of other reviews is the food. First night went down to evening meal at 6.45 food was stone cold every one complaining so we thought we go down a bit later after that did improve a little bit but it's not good. Hotel needs to get that sorted every time you got certain food potatoes cauliflower they were never warm. Would we stay there again. No definitely not next time we in Costa adeje we staying in gf fannabe been before brilliant hotel

"Not Impressed at all."

6.0

First of all, just returned after 10 day stay All Inclusive holiday, at this so called 5 star rated hotel. The rooms are very nice after the refurb, and bathrooms very up to date, large and roomy hotel, bar area , entertainments etc, good. Pool areas very nice, although bottom pool can only be used by penguins, and polar bears due to water temperature. The pool snack bar, very limited, only serving, burgers, and hot dogs, and not a 5 star rating for either. The things that matter most on a AI holiday, ie food and drink, Drinking water room service, you have to ring reception on a daily basis to have fresh water delivered to your room in small cartons, never known that before anywhere, after visiting many many hotels over the years. Why have fridges that are not stocked on arrival. Which is a big no no, as far as we are concerned. Bearing in mind this is a 5star rated hotel, not a safari park. Food quality, pretty poor, in fact resulting in us eating out, rather than facing the mostly cold bland food served in the over chilled cold restaurant. The roof top cocktail bar, is a comfortable retreat to enjoy a drink with friends etc, but beware, although having paid for 5 star All Inclusive treatment, most cocktails are chargeable with a 30% reduction for all inclusive guests. The same rule applies in the a la carte restaurant, having the same 30% reduction to the very expensive basic meals being served there, to All Inclusive guests. Be prepared to have to spend heavily for services usually availible at other hotels within the All Inclusive holiday range. Will not be returning to this hotel.

"Great holiday!"

10.0

Spent a brilliant 10 days here at the beginning of May. The Hotel is big but after a day or 2 easy to navigate. Everywhere is kept very clean and all the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The newly refurbished rooms are beautiful, big comfortable bed, big bathroom with great rainfall shower and plenty of towels. Good quality shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, handwash and body lotion are also provided. Loved the control panel for A/C and lights and also the red/green switch for cleaners. Our room on the 5th floor looked out to the mountains and was very quiet. We were HB and had no complaints about the food. Breakfast was brilliant & had everything you could possibly ask for. The egg lady was fantastic. I can also vouch for the pastries- they were amazing! Only thing that could make it better for me would be bigger cups/mugs for tea & coffee. Evening meal was great too with a different theme every night. Show cooking always had 2 fish & 2 meats freshly cooked to order in front of you. The fresh pasta station was fantastic with everything cooked to your individual taste. Pizza was also available every evening. The pools were cool but refreshing & loungers, brollies & tables were always available. Evening entertainment was fine. We had a late flight home & on the morning of our last day were able to book a courtesy room for a shower before leaving. All in all a hotel we would happily return to.
