American Star Inn & Suites Atlantic City

Great location to Atlantic City without the cost. Very clean and had mini fridge and microwave. Heater worked well. Clean bed, bathroom, and tub. Bedding and towels were clean. Only about 8 miles from Atlantic City so only takes 15 minutes

I don’t normally write reviews but felt the need to write one about this property to inform other guests before they book a room here. I had a 13 hour day of traveling and booked this room on my way to NJ just as a cheap place to sleep, so I wasn’t expecting much. When I got there I had to ring a bell to get into the “lobby” which consisted of a teller window and couch. I was told I had to make a $100 cash security deposit before receiving the key to the room, and it could not be done on a card. The guy was rude and they did not have an ATM, so I had to walk across the highway at 1 am to a gas station. I come back give them the money, get my key, and go to my room. The room is disgusting; doors are dirty, faucet in the bathtub is rotting, nothing looks clean, and the bed was so uncomfortable. I took a video and pictures of how bad it was. I checked out right away the next morning and got my $100 back. If you’re looking for a place to stay there are a million other hotels in the area and I would suggest staying away from this one. Hope this review helps someone so they don’t have to go through what I went through!

I booked the room on the fly. Staff is rude. Deposit is cash only. Quote " No cash deposit, no room. Rooms none refundable hahaha." "No room and no refund call Expedia." Stay at superlodge down the street.

Room smells like smoke and mildew really bad, never get back

We have interruptions and the ac worked so that was good and their was shampoo to shower but the sleep of the room was not good and the window did not ooen

Check In was fast and easy! My family and I felt very safe! The staff, especially Shreya were amazing and helpful. Very close to restaurants, fast food and Casinos. We will definitely be coming back. Nice family Inn.
