American Star Inn & Suites Atlantic City

Place was dirty, they didn’t allow me to even stay the night because my boyfriend slammed a door, the front desk called seconds later saying they’ve checked me out, and wouldn’t return the cash deposit I put down. The site also says they accepted pets but when I went up to the lobby to buzz in, I watched the attendant stop to print a label out saying ‘Dog charge $120’ so when I went back in to get my $100 deposit, she said I’d have to pay the pet fee first. What kind of service is that? I’m glad I left anyways, because I also saw they have hourly rates and couples were coming in and out for the the hours we spent there. The sheets were scratchy and dirty as well.

The lady at the front desk was so rude. She needs to be fired!

Customer service is horrible they wouldn't even let me pay for a room key 5 dollar charge but when I go to pay i cant they walked me to my room 3 times

A place to stay which is conveniently located to everything... Clean and reasonably priced...

The owner was very pleasant nice and understanding. The room was neat and clean.

Stay away found bed bug on bed packed up my stuff handed front desk bed bug asked for a refund and bolted out of there received an apology but no refund stay at your own risk

I did get to stay in the room. I had requested to cancel and they refuse to cancel so now you and the american motel have stolen my money

It was clean and presentable Very small soap & 2 towels

There was no service, we stayed for a few days and on the last day they asked if we needed anything. It’s ok for an emergency but they up charge for EVERYTHING!! A room key, if you want to be on the lower level etc. The people around that seem to live there are creepy crack head ish I’m certain there are worse places to stay but def bottom of the barrel. Pictures are nothing like in person

The staffs are fantastic and that’s what really matters. If can sleep in a palace with rude staffs, you won’t even feel like you have stayed at a palace. But staying at a place with a great front desk experience means everything to me. Thank you
