Don Carlos Marbella

this review as 20 year customers: a completely renovated hotel , but still the same positive points : the gardens , the pool , sol y Sombra , the room…. a negative point is the loud music everywhere. why do hotels need to make boum boum boum all day long , i can’ t understand. Our special thanks to Mr Gomez, whom we were so pleased to see again after the renovation, and Mohamed from the beach, who is taking so good care of his customers

Great stay at the newly refurbished Don Carlos hotel from start to finish. The service was exceptional and the staff were all wonderful including the Elisabet and Daniel from the Guest Experience team. Look forward to revisiting next year.

Beautiful resort, nice staff especially Mohamed on the beach who was very thoughtful and helpful as Jennifer the room service in bloque two.

Excellent hotel - calm, tranquil and luxurious, everyone who works there was so hospitable and welcoming - by the pool, the restaurants and front desk and the doormen and the chamber maids, I was there for a while and got to meet everyone so wont list names as wouldn't want to miss anyone out - but the whole experience was first class!

We came for dinner at Los Naranjos with my husband during our stay at Don Carlos for two weeks. This was by far our favourite meal at the hotel. We were recommended delicious dishes by our server. The service was top notch and the live music was great. Highly recommend place for dinner for couples, friends and family alike.

Excellent service and superb hotel for a business conference . Short stroll to the beach club with comfy beds and beach towels. Nice pool and loungers and very attentive staff. Hotel food is excellent. Hotel seemed to have a problem with a mains sewer or drain system which was rectified quickly .

The Don Carlos Hotel in Marbella is a true gem! The stunning sea views were a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The landscaping throughout the property is beautifully maintained, adding to the overall peaceful atmosphere. A special shoutout goes to Marco and Ikram from the front desk team, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail set a wonderful tone for my visit. The entire concierge team was equally impressive, always ready with helpful recommendations and to make reservations. Overall, the Don Carlos Hotel offered five-star service and is highly recommended!

Our son (14) plays tennis so we chose this hotel for practice/leisure and it was perfect! Rafa Nadal center is a top class training center with great staff and pro trainers. Couldn’t be more happy. Newly renowated hotel was also very nice and restaurants as well. Special thanks to Magy from Rafa Nadal center who made all the arrangements regarding tennis superbly.

We love the Don Carlos Marbella & have spent many years staying here. The recent hotel renovation is fantastic, beyond our expectations it’s such a luxury hotel now! What we love about the hotel is that the staff are unbelievable every year & make sure you have an amazing stay - they treat you like a VIP. Firstly Amparo who has been here many years is incredible, she looks after you & your family to ensure you have an amazing stay, we feel she is top Management & definitely acts like one hopefully she will be one very soon - she deserves it! Also Estela welcomes us every morning with a smile at breakfast & makes sure I have my gluten free porridge, she is amazing. There is a lot of amazing staff to mention, but also Alvaro at the pool he makes sure you have everything you want for food & drink & is very kind & a lovely person! The new kids club is fantastic & we look forward to our daughter using the new faculties when they are open next year. It’s great to see the restaurant has been renovated we are here many times and makes a difference with a baby to be able to eat at the hotel with delicious food. The pool food bar is also delicious. Thank you for another happy & memorable stay with our family! We love it here!

I am staying at the Don Carlos hotel with my mum & sister and we are having such a great time that I’m writing the review before we have checked out! The hotel has been extensively & very recently refurbished & the standard is exceptional. The interior, restaurants & pool/ pool side are of truly excellent standard & it’s super stylish but mostly- ALL of the staff have been incredibly helpful. Everyone that works here has been experienced , smiley & efficient. The hotel is a really short taxi ride to Marbella town/ old town but there are a few great spots within walking distance & the beach is only a very short walk. I can’t recommend this hotel enough! We’ll certainly be back.
