Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco Resort & Spa

The only reason I didn’t rate it 5/5 is because of the distance from bigger cities, it’s not easy to traverse the terrain (if you drive expect lots of switch backs) however, the views and setting are stunning! The hotel is a little tired, meaning they could use a little facelift but our room was quite nice, comfy bed, and very clean. A few shout outs to the staff, Manuel (extremely friendly and provided personal driver info who we used to take a group of 5 and a dog to a winery and quick dinner in Lucca that we felt was accommodating and well worth it) and another front desk gentlemen who checked us in that was super friendly but I can’t recall his name (sorry). Other staff shout outs, Lorenzo and Emanuel, who have customer service skills down to a T! We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider a return trip!

Outstanding from the hotel service to the fairytale views. We had a wonderful stay in our balcony room. The resort staff Lorenzo, Alice and Guilio were truly customer focused outstanding employees and made our stay extra special the 6 days we started there. Guilio suggested the winery tour at Concori and it was so delightful along with the pasta making class. Thanks Guilio!

Hotel is located in a beautiful location. Staff are super helpful and friendly. The wellness area and the spa are nice but could use some updating.

Our shower made a noise when the water was running. It was also a little rundown. The major thing that we didn't like was the breakfast and the food at the restaurant. For a hotel at this level and considering the fact that there is not much else in the area as far as restaurants, we expected a better quality of food. It was clear that they were not using fresh ingredients which is shocking for Italy where there is an abundance of fresh vegetables, etc.

We spend 2 nights at this wonderful hotel. Every thing was more than perfect. From the check in with Lionel till our check out through our dinner at the bar been served by Denis with his excellent suggestion for the main course and the wine. Breakfast service was excellent. Housekeeping team did a great job looking to the details. Lovely swimming pool and Panasonic view from our room. Thanks to all the staff for their professional and the friendly service. Thanks to Lionel, Denis and all the staff hotel. We will back again for sure

Schöner Blick, schöne Terasse

Anfahrtsweg relativ lange hinauf, nur durch ein Upgrade (kostenlos durch Rezeption) war das Zimmer ok. Wenn das Zimmer hintenhinaus gewesen wäre, anscheinend laut Rezeption so gebucht, hat das Preis Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht gepasst. Kein adäquater Wellness Bereich
