Great staff, quick check_in, clean room and very comfortable bed. Even though the lodge is on highway, it was quite and we had good sleep. Price was great value, and location central and so easy walkable to everything in Fernie. Highly recommended for business traveller who are smart about $$. Will be back.

This hotel is basic and clean. The owner/operator is a fantastic host. Good value. Not fancy but clean and the beds are good. I would definitely come back. The pool area is great for relaxing after work.
Motel is quite outdated. Bathroom was quite dirty on arrival, room had paint peeling and dated decor. The deadbolt on the door didn’t actually lock in the room. Motel was full of contractors which was made apparent on arrival as we were told to be quiet from 10pm - 7am (which is standard, I know). However, it was clear this courtesy wasn’t mutual because when 5/6am rolled around, there was a lot of banging on doors and chumming around by the contractors as they were getting ready to leave the motel and pile into their many trucks which took up the majority of the motel parking and nearby street parking. The common area of the motel was nice, the courtyard space could be very lovely if minor upgrades were made. I will say, the reception staff and housekeeping were very warm, welcoming and provided good recommendations for nearby festivities. Overall, this was a satisfactory motel. You have many other options for a higher price tag that would come with a higher standard of cleanliness and service.
