Powder Mountain Lodge

For a 2 star hotel is was more than what I expected. Pretty basic and a bit run down. But clean, and relatively quiet. Close enough to walk downtown and a bunch of places to eat close by. Great bang for buck value.

The front office clerk was extremely helpful and informative. He was amazing. The room was decent but the bathroom had a layer of dust around the window. The shower pressure was adequate but the water was Luke warm at best.

Staff very friendly. Motel is run down but clean. Pillows we like rocks.

Our stay was quite and relaxing. Rates special because of shoulder season, got room in the courtyard. Used BBQ and had good time. Yamagata is across the street, very easy to walk everywhere. We will be back.

Powder mountain lodge is best place for vacation good location, swimming pool, excellent service, reasonable prices, and family environmental hotel. Surrounding mountains view. Very hardly we can get such kind of hotel in Canada. Thank you for giving such a wonderful stay Sam

Check-in was super easy and seamless for our family and friends. We booked 7 rooms and were made very welcome while checking. Staff were very easy to deal with and accommodating. The manager was attentive and made sure our group is well taken care of. He also reminded us of noise policy and no smoking policy etc. Our rooms were clean, and adequately fine. We used private courtyard and area around the pool to chill and relax and had tons of fun. Certainly will recommend this lodge to anyone. Price was very good and location un-beatable.

I've never stayed at a hotel where I felt like I was at home. The owner Sam goes way out of his way to make our 6 night stay awesome! The rooms and lodge itself are clean and you have everything you need. I highly rate this place, avoid the overpriced sterile hotels and stay here. Thanks again Sam. Gord and Brittney. 🙂
