Stayed for work for 2 weeks, special rate, attentive staff. Kitchen suites stocked with basic pots and pans- was easy to use and felt like home. Quite environment. Location is ideal close to grocery store and pubs.
Stayed here for a week and it was located right in the town of Fernie. The grounds were beautiful courtyard was amazing spent lots of time enjoying the beauty from the courtyard. This was a family vacation with the kids we enjoyed the whole experience. The hotel had everything you would need to stay long term. Kitchen equipped with everything, very clean and hotel staff was amazing. We played pool in the evenings and enjoyed the hot tub. I will be planned another holiday this summer as they have a beautiful outdoor pool.
We got stuck in Fernie, because our car broke down on highway. One of the local person gave us a ride to the town and dropped us off at this hotel. Not knowing what to expect, we were tight on budget. The front desk manager gave us great discount and sympathize with us about our broken car. He genuinely cared about us and even gave us food for the night. Next day we hoped the car will be fixed by local mechanics, did not happen the way we hoped. So we were back at this hotel again, the manager was very kind and did not charge us anything. Even ordered us pizza. My kids were so happy to play with a cute dog named penny. Anyway we could not believe such people still exists in this world. Very kind hearted and amazing staff and manager. Thank you power mountain lodge for making us feel home.
quite expensive for a just motel condition
The walls were thin hear next room. The next room partied until 5 am nothing was done. The hot tub was from 1980 and was so dirty looked like slough water.
Staff were caring yet professional. Price fair for a resort town. Hotel was busy yet quite. Rooms can use some updates but was clean and ok. We had great time. Used hot tub and played snooker. The staff had a a small cute dog, felt like home.
The room was ok for the price. TV was unwatchable. Beds good. Floor and surfaces dirty.
This is an older property with basic amenities. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.
The man who checked us in was really lovely, great price and comfy bed. Close to downtown!
Very basic room, bathroom has been updated. Overall property is quite old and needs lots of work to refresh/update it. Wi-fi was very poor. No excuse for this today as good wi-fi is an essential for most people.
