Arrived from uk early morning flight , room not ready on arrival , finally ready at around 3pm. Brought medication etc with me only to find no fridge in room THIS IS EXTRA £5 per night which I’ve never experienced in any 4 star hotel ANYWHERE and I’ve visited around 15 different countries. So if your a young family with a baby or diabetic which needs food or medication stored in fridge that’s going to cost you extra . Booked a double room with sea view which is 2 singles pushed together with a gap in between which again isn’t stated and a deal breaker . The smallest balcony which barely holds 2 chairs and the sea view is manageable if you strain your neck to look around the building. Food is typical AI, drinks and staff all friendly enough to. Multi nationality hotel which is good to see . I’ve been to Tunisia multiple times and honestly this is the worst room / balcony and facilities we have experienced .

Its Great atmopshere, Dudu best animation person. I will be back soon for sure. I give five stars out of five. Hotel great

The biggest letdown was a thin older lady at the reception and an older balding man in the hotel bar – they were extremely unfriendly and really shouldn’t be working in hospitality. The rooms are pretty outdated, but the food, the beach, the animators, and the rest of the staff were absolutely great!

This is our first visit to talassa Mahdia hotel and it was a very nice experience and full with activities and fun and the service it was soo cool I’m in love with this hotel and his vipe 👌🏼❤️🇹🇳

The hotel was very basic, not a 4 star hotel at all. Maybe to African standards but not in terms of other holiday destinations in Europe. The choice of food wasn’t very good and we mainly settled for pizza, pasta and potatoes. The new rooms was basic with limited plug sockets. I even had to take the TV off the wall bracket just to be able to access another plug as there were only 2 others in the room, one of which was hidden behind the desk. We requested a move because we got put in 3 of the rooms which seemed to be putting the English family out of the way in the basement. There were a lot of problems with the initial rooms; mainly specks of blood dotted around the room and lights being loose in their sockets. There isn’t much to do around the hotel in terms of shopping, there are mainly clothes shops with a corner dedicated to drinks and snacks. Some hotel staff weren’t very welcoming to the English and catered and served the French speakers first even though we’d been queuing. We also had money stolen from our room by the room maintenance / cleaning staff which was fastened in our wallets and they claimed that it might’ve been taken without consent for TIPS! To sum all that up: we won’t be returning and we left quite disappointed with the hotel. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR MONEY!

VERY BADLY EQUIPPED HOTEL, OLD-FASHIONED, NEEDS REFRESHING, SMALL CHOICE OF FOOD, OFTEN COLD, LONG QUEUES FOR FOOD WHICH OFTEN RUNS OUT, LOW QUALITY ALCOHOL, BARTENDERS DO NOT KNOW THE RECIPES FOR THE MOST POPULAR DRINKS, HOT AND FIZZY BEVERAGES, SHABBY BATHROOMS, OUR SHOWER WAS BROKEN, WATER WAS COMING ONTO THE CURTAIN INSTEAD OF ON US, WATER WOULD NOT DRAIN FROM THE BATHTUB, TO HAVE AN AVAILABLE SUNBED YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP EARLY IN THE MORNING AND KEEP AN EYE OUT BECAUSE THERE'S NO CHANCE OF COMING AT A NORMAL TIME AND HAVING THE POSSIBILITY OF A FREE SUNBED. PLUS, WARM WATER IN THE POOL, WORKING AIR CONDITIONING THOUGH IT SHOULD BE CLEANED, AND WARM SEA. UNFORTUNATELY, WE WILL NOT VISIT THIS HOTEL AGAIN AND DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
