Room smelt of weed. Beds were comfortable though. Bathroom shower curtian moldy and shower screen was dirty Breakfast was poor.

Initial room was facing the public high street in the centre of town (slightly noisy, but f you want a central location it is good - approx 20-25mins walk from the train station), however the heating was on full and could not be adjusted. When I requested support the staff were extremely helpful and quickly moved me to another room where the temperature could be better regulated. The brekfast was average, I was a little concerned on the amount of oil coming off my omlette, not sure this was fried oil or from the melted cheese, aside from that the breakfast was of average quality

rooms/bathrooms are dirty as hell

The reception area and the staff were helpful, the sheets were clean. The manager listened to my complaints, I was offered a different room, I requested a refund for my unused nights, the manager did refund me fully for the unspent night.

The entrance is clearly a problem to keep clean from the street, it needs something doing to stop street sleepers and urinating there. No lift. Many stairs. The bedroom decorations were tired, only 1 bedside table, the windows were dirty, there was a mouse control box in the bathroom, the bath was chipped and looked grubby although it wasn't. The worst part was the mattresses. There were 2 single beds in my room and both mattresses were awful, old and tired. No parking either, you have to use a local car park and pay and walk 5/10 mins to hotel.
