Holiday Inn Club Vacations Tahoe Ridge Resort by IHG

Everything. We have stayed here twice now, once in a one bedroom villa and then again in a smaller room. The villa was amazing. Clean and spacious. The staff were friendly, we played ping pong and pool in the clubhouse. We have a 5 year old who also had fun. The other room was smaller but still nice and clean. It's kind of out of the way from all the good stuff in Tahoe, but I dont mind that. I would definitely go back again.

I really liked the big comfy beds, a lot of hotels don’t have beds as quality is this hotel. Also, that there is ski in and ski out for such a good price.

Nothing everything was great. I will definitely continue to stay there.

We have stayed at Ridge Tahoe multiple times in the past and like the location and facilities. The transportation services are especially very very helpful and have great folks working in it.

They are greatly going downhill. The front desk doesn't want to give out ski lockers now even though they have many empty. I asked when I checked in and they said they are changing locks in the lockers so they cannot give. After going to our building I saw some folks using the lockers and many were open and empty. I called resort services and they said to just come over to front desk and get the locker for $25 deposit. So I trudged out back to the front desk, which was in a separate building, and told them and they said "who told you you can get the locker". After I let them know the lady went in fidgeted for 10 mins before giving me a key as though she was doing us a great favour. I had an ankle surgery and had my medical boot on and asked for a unit that did not need to navigate stairs. But they gave me one that was three floors down and I need to take the elevator and then stairs before getting to the unit. The stairs and corridor were also exposed to snow and slippery. The building they gave me also had only streetside parking and getting to the van meant I need to go over ice and snow in my boot. I needed some help to shovel my van out and asked the resort services for a shovel so I could use it and give it back - but they said I need to buy my own. I then called their transportation services who helped us. Over all, I think the front desk and resort services have greatly gone down over the years.

Location was nice. Room was very clean and well equipped.

But hotel felt quite old. Hot water and fireplace was out for 4 hours (but was fixed). Door to garage was broken, therefore garage access was limited. Very noise during the nights. Looks like big compressors were running. Hot tub, indoor pool was not as cosy as I expected them to be.
