"Disappointing "

They had comfy beds and good A/C. The music from the night club across from the hostel was unbearably loud and it made it impossible to sleep every night. Also, my sheets were not changed on my bed when I arrived. I am very disappointed in the housekeeping services and the noise level of this hostel.

"Party hostel with nice facilities "

Gilligan’s is a gigantic hostel with a great pool and a massive bar/club. It was clean and the facilities/pool/kitchens were nice. I could hear the music from the club in my room though that didn’t prevent me from sleeping, however I understand that if your room is right above the bar it is REALLY loud. Overall, I would recommend this place for people who are looking to party HARD, not people who want to wake up early for tours and things. It’s also so huge that it can be difficult to meet people... the vibe is a little impersonal. It is a great place for what it is, you just have to understand what you are signing up for. If you want to party, this is your spot.

"Great stay "

Brilliant place to stay for young people. Lots to do and very much a hub for everything. Only bad point is air conditioning is controlled by the desk so had to keep asking them to turn the heat up as was freezing.

Good price for a bunk to crash for a frw hours before a flight, only let down was the pumping club and wet tshirt comp which meant I was up way later than I should have been...

"Good deal for the price."

This is a party hotel mostly for backpackers, but we booked the private king room. The view of the city from our balcony was nice. The hallways and room smelled musty, but were clean. Furniture was dated, but comfortable. The bar/restaurant had great deals for good and drinks...and the quality of the food & drinks was good. For the price, this was a good deal.
