"Party central "

Staff were super welcoming but it's definitely party central. Because it's so popular there isn't much sense of community and I found it tough to meet people. I was travelling solo but if you're there with a mate it's probably a cool option. But the staff were great.

"Middle of everything"

I enjoyed my stay in the hostel, I met very nice people. The beds are not comfortable though it made my back pains. I loved how crazy the place can be every night during parties. They have nice offers and specials for residents.

I decided stay in Gilligans Hostel & Resort during four days to travelling. Its amazing city where can meet people excelent, explorer many places with beautifull views as explame Barron River, Kuranda Park, Palm Cove etc etc I'll recommend Gilligans :)

"Good hotel and good location "

The staff were very friendly and helpful, check in and out was easy and straightforward and quite quick even during busy times. The private room was clean and spacious. The room I was in didn't have windows that open unfortunately but did have air con at least. Located a short walk from most places. I would highly recommend, especially to backpackers on a budget
