Gilligan's Backpackers Hotel & Resort

I didnt realise the party reputation of the hotel ans was a bit put off by the 'jelly wrestling' being shown the day i arrived, but i only had 1 night here and was fairly jetlagged so chose to just crash. The beds were comfy, the hotel style room was spacious, and i wasnt aware of any noise overnight.

Very clean and well operated backpackers. Plenty of space and good shower/ensuite. Great pool amd entrrtainment at location also.

It’s a party hostel, had an amazing time made it easy to meat other travelers. Surprised how comfy the beds were. Room was basic, full kitchen which was nice.

Rooms are very clean and beds are larger than your normal bunk bed. However, there were tons of cockroaches in the kitchen. And if you don’t own a pair of earplugs don’t stay here!

Best party hostel, you get free entre to the night club, and if you lucky you can get free drinks. The pool area is so nice to cure your hangover!

It’s feels really like a hotel, even if you stay in dorms. The pool and bar area is amazing and staying here gives you many discounts to the bar. Everyday there’s some party and entertainment. Great place to stay for a weekend (or for a week if you really are party animal!)

Clean room, good bathroom. Only matrass is super old

Near to beach and friendly staff.. Room is not so comfortable

At night its a little bit noisy cuz of club right next to hostel. And room is slightly smelly. I guess its because of aircon. But surprisingly cheap price and perfect location to access everywhere. Definitely worth it.

Facilities were good - kitchen on every floor, good wifi, secure lockers. However, this is a large party hostel. Lots of people, and a few nights a week there's very loud music at the hostel bar that makes it difficult to sleep.
