Hotel Elbe

Inget fel på hotellet i sig för den prisklassen, men gatan utanför var belamrad av hemlösa och narkomaner. Jag överdriver inte om det konstant var 20-30 personer som låg på trottoaren och bl a injicerade heroin helt öppet. Undvik denna gata (och helst området nära tågstationen). Inget unikt för en storstad men lägg någon hundralapp extra och bo några kvarter bort om ni kan.

This hotel is terrible in terms of location because of it's proximity to the Pik Dame across the street which is a hangout for druggie wastrels and prostitutes. The rooms are ok, however the noise from the goings-on across the street are less than tolerable. I suggest that if you possess delicate sensibilities you stay elsewhere in the city.

Frightening experience especially outside of hotel. Didn't realize I would see a gun shot on the outside window and across the street is a cabaret with drug deals viewed from my balcony window. Upon returning to hotel, we were locked outside with a sign that says the staff will be back shortly. This definitely is no 3 star hotel.

Excellent for mongers. Don't bring the wife or kids.

I knew this was a budget hotel and very near the main train station and all appeared ok until the night. It is very close to the red light area but to be fair also near the heart of Frankfurt. The room I was in was on the 4th floor and I presume at the back as noise wasn't a problem. The street outside was quiet mid morning and mid afternoon but at night was quite a desperate sight with what appeared to be a mix of migrants, drop outs, druggies and prostitutes. As for the room, it was clean, the bedding was good, tv, safe and bathroom, the shower head was broken but not a big issue as it worked with plenty of hot water. No free wifi which at 7.50 euro for 24 hour access isn't that extortionate, but usually expected these days to be available and free! Overall for my purposes this was ok and the left luggage facility came in handy! 5/10

Poor stay overall, very bad smoke smell in room despite asking for a non-smoking room. Located in the city but right next to the bars and red light district with many hookers standing next to the hotel at night. Very small room and dirty. Our worse stay in Germany of our 14 days here.

Room was small but clean. Good enough. The ad was clear that they charged for WiFi, so I shouldn't complain, but I had not noticed that and just found it annoying. Not a big deal. The street was a little unsavory, and some German friends were a little dismayed to hear I was staying there, but I had no problems. Just be prepared if you can't handle a slightly seedy location.

The room was fine but the little fridge was not cooling properly .Needs attention.The cleaning standard was very good. Good Reception.Over hall good standard. thanks
