Price for one night for my stay was really high
USUSThis was a very cute, themed property. It gave forest lodge vibes while having all the modern conveniences that you could need. It was about a half hour walk from Main Street Galena, which was a nice walk in good weather. Having free parking on the property was ideal.

USUSThe free breakfast was unusually good. The attendant, Karen, was right on top of everything. The eggs, sausage and potatoes were really good. The pancake making machine drew lots of attention. The hand soap dispenser in out room needed a refill. I mentioned it to the housekeeper working in the next room as we were heading out. When we returned, she had filled the dispenser, cleaned the bathroom and changed all the towels, a very nice service!
A wedding party closed out the bar and moved to the lobby at 1:00AM Friday night and they were really loud. This is more an issue of inconsiderate guests then anything else. The room could use a towel bar to hang up the bath towels to dry.
